It truly isn't a perfect world. I agree about the taking care of yourself and health. That break up talk is no joke, it can leave a person lost or maybe even feeling like they were dependent on another person. I'm happy I was able to take this advice and just turn a negative into a positive and just focus on my health more.

Hey Mike/Jeffrey, I’m shooting a movie too and was planning on doing a dry out, so this is great timing. My question is, usually when I dry out for a shoot, I’m in that incredible shape for 1 day and then it slowly starts to return back to baseline. My movie shoot is 10 days long so Is there anyway to slow down the bounce back to have those effects last? The only thing I’ve thought about is keeping the carbs low for that duration but if you have a better way, would appreciate the knowledge. Thanks Goat

  • @saucxyfijian3927

Protein drink, because it’s liquid the body basically uses no energy to brake it down meaning it doesn’t get utilised by the body but on the other hand eating lean meats and poultry allows the body to use energy to brake it down utilising more of the product and because the body’s energy is braking down the food you burn calories when eating them especially when mike is doing a dry out stage

Honestly dont understand why no protein shakes..
My first thought was: no protein shakes because "real food" i.e. chicken, steak, tuna, fish, etc is more filling than a protein shake. But you can make a protein shake very filling while still being low in calories.
Protein + a bunch of berries low cal, very filling, high fiber, high protein, high in nutrients...
Idk. That was my best guess. Mike !! why no protein shakes while getting in the best shape!!?
