kaleidos is such a cool, edgy, refreshing brand.. I am always excited to see what they come out with. It's like they march at the beat of their own drums (and I am all about that life)
Over the last few years of rediscovering & experimenting with makeup I have figured out that I prefer having a basic wardrobe of neutral mattes & a curated collection of "special" shades like duochromes, multichromes, colorful brights, metallics, etc. I really like a lot of these smaller palettes that offer just that in the convenience of a palette but I just don't need to keep repurchasing the same neutrals over & over. It'd be nice if Kaleidos offered a palette (6 pan maybe) of just their shimmery/metallic/topper shades. I'd definitely buy that.
The neutral palette reminds me of the Linda Hallberg Infinity Glam palette - but more pigmented and the shimmers didn't skip leg day haha (I love my infinity glam for every day, so no shade here, just an observation). I'm really drawn to the purple/lilac one though, that one looks stunning! I've been wanting their futurism colorful palette, but didn't want to order just one. This might be the perfect combo for my first order!

This contour palette actually looks perfect for my skin tone. I am very impressed with the look of all these products. The only Indie brands I've ever been able to try are Makeup Geek and Juvias Place and only because the items were deeply discounted. Right before MUG's rebrand the round pan shadows were $2/each. I was able to get some of those. Last year at Black Friday I got the JP Magic Mini and Saharan 2 palettes. From what I can tell, Indie brands do it BETTER!*
I was afraid of this video beforehand as I knew this was the last drop for me to order 😅 I was surprised (in a good way) that the browns were a bit rosy. The only weird thing is the contour palettes. I am light-medium with neutral/cool undertones, so there is no contour palette for me. Or for people with light skin tones with warm undertone and I think the one for deeper skin tones was also warm. But they are not the stars of the show, the eyeshadow palettes sure are!

i was so looking forward to this video coming out! i'm so intrigued with this collection. i have three of the kaleidos futurism palettes, and the quality is one of my favorites i've ever tried, but i admit i don't wear them a ton because i'm more of a natural-neutral kind of person on a day-to-day basis. i want the sashimi city palette so bad, as well as the charisma contour face palette. i don't actually have a contour, and i've never been appealed enough to contour products or the face palettes that you'd find them in, but i love how these are nice, simple ones catering to different skin tones and not large palettes with multiple ranges in them. and they're such a fair price for how great their quality is. when the time comes and i have a little extra money, i'll probably pick up the sashimi city eye palette and the charisma face palette in light.
