For those saying your pc can’t handle this sim, performance is actually going to be better in 2024. They optimized the sim for it to be more multi core so your cpu will be totally optimized now
If people are so addicted to animated people and blades of grass, why don't they buy a "people and blades of grass simulator"? After all these years, there are still armies of gamers who can't get a C172 from cold&dark to take-off but need the 200th version of an A320. I wish Asobo would pay more attention to "flight simulation" and implement more study-level aircraft. Also a possibility for better training would be desirable.
That's what aftermarket products are for. All we need is MSFS to provide a versatile-enough engine to allow 3P devs to create study-level AC as well as in-depth mission packs with lots of scripted events etc. Stop looking at release builds of MSFS as the ceiling of what is possible - it's just a sandbox for devs to create amazing products.
It's crazy that I can pre-flight a real aircraft and begin my taxi and run-up faster than I I can get Microsoft started. I agree, they need to have more GA aircraft including the Piper aircraft
By November or end of this year you’ll have to upgrade more don’t forget once the game is released they will patch it same way as current sim ‘ more improvements demand more hardware power 😂
Wondering if they will actually incorporate a replay system like xp12. I would like a basic replay system and be able to watch my landings from a runway or tower view with ease.
Ok wow. From the ground "object population" to the air and sea traffic to the richness of the environments on the ground, missions (possible career mode) and all the new modes and content. This is amazing, it's what MSFS should have been from the start - an improvement and modernization of FSX.
You mention that the A330 from Aerosoft must be kickass to beat the default A330 in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. 😁 It's funny because they will probably be competing against themselves as we know several partners are building aircraft for the new sim. Especially as you said they've been quiet... Dean from DC Designs (they are building the A10) stated he was quiet because they signed an NDA, so until they annouce the developer for this plane then they can't say much. 😄
trailers always look amazing i probably couldnt tell apart between the 2020 and 2024 trailers you need a mega computer! i wouldnt buy it with a medium end PC
My main concern is if they'll finally get AI-based ATC to work. The biggest roadblock to immersion (and usefulness to real-world pilots) is being able to "realistically fly IFR in the system" and both MSFS 2020 and X-Plane 12 still have a long way to go in that regard. It's really frustrating when your outgoing transmission choices are very limited compared to what they are IRL and some of the ridiculous routing (particularly approach vectoring) provided. These are supposed to be sims, not games, and that needs to be higher-priority than the areas they highlight in the teasers.
I just hope they fix a lot of the bugs so that you can be confident in having an uninterrupted flight (xbox btw). ILS frequencies are often off, ATC is garbagio, FMS just shuts off on certain planes during descent, NAV system will just start sending you back where you came from while passing 2,000ft, taxi ribbons work about 40% of the time, etc.... For me, the worst is the ILS being off, that really shits on my day lol. I still play the game all the time though.
@@scottberge6286 there is a big margin between a $20k 4K setup, and a 20 years old 1080p setup, my friend! The game will never look like that on Xbox, unless Microsoft/Asobo are having a deal with the devil.
@@shollie Yup, but honestly, as long as it looks like MSFS 2020 on medium-to-high, it's fine. And I hope that what they've learnt from making 2020 will mean the performance will be better. I only care about ground textures.

I'd figure not many by the time of release....cost of living going up on a monthly basis........come release of this title......not many are going to be in a position to fork out what's required to get the new SIM running smooth.
