In 2022, I made a full size Pinocchio puppet from the movie 'Adventures of Pinocchio'. It was a commision so unfortunately once I finished him, I had to say goodbye. A few days ago, I uploaded a making of video for that puppet and it got me thinking. Why not make another one for myself? So here it is, the first steps into making a much smaller version. The goal, this time around, is not to make an exact replica. I want to experiment with the design a bit. Try a few different looks maybe. For the head in particular, I started of trying to get the likeness as close to the movie as possible. But I decided to stop worrying about that, since I got pretty close with the previous one, and focus on giving him a look I would be happy with. I was of course going to keep everything I really liked about the design, like that fantastic hairdo! .
