I actually mentioned it toward the end of the video. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to rip into it yet. Hopefully soon

That universal coolant is pretty much a Dex-Cool clone just dyed a different color. Contains the 2-EHA additive that's known to be hard on some gaskets. I kept going through timing cover gaskets on my truck every 2 years, switched to Zerex G-05 and the problem of eating gaskets went away. Couldn't believe it. Every time the gaskets AND the RTV would be degraded to pretty much nothing. So yeah, on a GM vehicle don't sweat using the all makes all models stuff, it's pretty much the same product.

G-05 is a great coolant it's probably my favorite never had any issues with it

@@Krankie_V I've switched everything I have over to G-05. Great replacement for the old green IAT coolant and extended life without the 2-EHA additive. I've been really happy with it. How low is the oil pressure on your truck at idle?

@@MattsRageFitGarage at 1000 rpm it may have about 10 psi, at 600rpm its down so low the gauge doesn't really show anything and the idiot light is on steady.

Man I had that same exact accident situation happen to me once, except they were all stopped because of someone walking in a crosswalk. Nobody was slowing down so I turned to check my blind spot and change lanes, looked forward and suddenly I'm cruising 20ft behind a panic-stopped car lol. Swerved into the next lane and skidded to a halt right as the people walking got to the front of my car. Scary shit...
I remember your video when your last Chevy popped out of gear and rolled into the shop, that's been awhile.
My 76 has a whopping 2psi at hot idle, I had to crank up the idle last time I drove it because it was sketching me out haha.
Good call on that bumper brace, that thing was gone!

Damn bro you have been around on my channel a long time! I miss that Cavalier, it was a good car even if it did have a lot of issues. I liked the looks of it and it was comfortable to drive. Great fuel economy as well. The Malibu Maxx seems a good fit for me. It's not huge but it's big enough to fit the child seat, a good amount of cargo, and someone can still comfortably sit up front. The Escort is just too small for the child seat. I had to put the front seat all the way forward and the baby seat was still touching it.

speaking of the rear seat radio control at 9:28 we had that on our 2000 model Escalade, it shuts down rear speakers but you can't change the radio like you do in the Ford Vehicle but if you plug in headseat, then you can control it only on your headset.

Nice Maxx. I have a 2004 Malibu Maxx and it is in need of some serious repair. I like the car and the body is intact so I am thinking about keeping it and getting the repairs done. One major one is the transmission. May I ask how long have you had your Maxx and what's the mileage?

I have had this car for a few months only. It's got about 117k on the odometer. I got this car because the previous owner brought it into the shop with no brakes, it needed brake lines replaced and he decided he didn't need the car anymore. I was able to buy it for only $500
