I LOVE the thick, bronze scales, and I don’t even notice the extra few ounces.
Love that color
Those gloves are huge brother. It’s scary watching you operate in them
Great video I just ordered this knife thanks for doing such a great job on explaining it's detail 👍
Excellent review!
$300 ain’t chicken feed, but I thought it would be worth that much, so I bought one. I was NOT disappointed! It’s the quality, which well machined billet bronze does well! It also fits my hand, and has very discreet signage. Did anyone notice the Voxnaes trademark on the inside of the clip scale? The liners are so well done I didn’t even notice the non-liner lock side liner. This is, in MHO a GREAT knife!
Awesome review as usual Jim!!!👊💥
Very cool knife
Thanks for the info. I joined the newsletter
I'm surprised they didn't announce this in Lefty EDCs channel. He is the biggest cheerleader of the design and channel of purchase.
Man, that is a beautiful knife. I love the ergos on Voxnaes designs. This one is definitely on my list. It looks like there is a pre-order going on right now.
I got one of these on the drop and was surprised it didn’t sell out in 5 minutes like most of there knifes lol,it is fantastic very well put together.
I’m not a fan of patina either , I’ve actually polished it up a couple times lol I also picked up the coin and there brass donut aswell very cool stuff ,
And the knife is just Awsome, great video sir👍
Keeping your copper or copper-based scales polished is always an option, and traditionally, that would have been normal, and expected. I have a lot of knives with those metals, and I may polish them periodically. THAT might be the very best look. Traditionally, people who didn’t polish their brass were considered sloppy, or lazy housekeepers! People who didn’t take good care of their possessions were considered to be unrefined, and were disrespected.
Just ordered F5.5 denim
Thats a very classy looking peice

beefCAAAAAAKE!!!!
Just a commit for you
Kinda looks like a little Sheeps Foot
Hope you get your guns back Jim
lol, dear god I can’t count how many people have sent me that video
Hey Jim,
I’d they took this design, and made the same design in a Axis or XR type lock? Would you think that would be a better and more robust knife?
I’m thinking this knife would perhaps sell even better if with one of those lock types.
Let me know what you think
Personal opinion? No. Linerlocks (and framelocks) are far more popular. And honestly, a lock that would cut out parts of the scales and add a new element would be a deal killer for me. This knife is really well designed for a clean flow, and I wouldn’t want to interrupt that look with a goofy looking lock cut into the sides.
Incase anyone wants a premium Pilar.. here you go lol
I pre ordered the new antique bronze and no one is buying it seems. The micarta acid with micarta wash sold out quick.
Hi Jim who makes this knife?
It’s not divulged, but I recognize who made it and while I’m not allowed to speculate publicly… it’s a brand I trust and enjoy
