The part about finding a bug in a tutorial and fixing it is a great point I've never heard brought up before. Definitely a huge dopamine rush.

I am a Unity learner from China, and I really enjoy Alex's courses on Udemy. I have learned a lot from you that I couldn't learn from Chinese teachers. You are really much better than them. Also, I hope you can create a tutorial on the Behavior Designer plugin in the future. I really want to learn from you on that aspect.☺

Hello Alex, before taking your classes I was desperate. I had followed tons of tutorials and couldn't reproduce anything. Today, after taking your classes, I can (finally) write a movement script on my own. Even though it may seem simple to many people, it was a challenge for me. Now, succeeding boosts my confidence and makes me want to learn even more. So, thank you, Alex!

You are totally right Alex, im in your unity rpg course and sometimes I run into bugs that have not been disclosed yet or are just mine because I did alternative things or made some other custom stuff. Its just because I have been trying to test and create things in top of the course. The feeling when I realize something is wrong in the code and I fix it before you disclose it is so satisfactory, makes you feel like you learned a lot! Its all about aplying what you learn

Outstanding video. I kept getting told "make Pong, or Tetris", and
all I thought was "why? that's not my dream game"
I didn't understand the value of making
simple games. I promise you this, if you understand
the basics, your game will not remain simple for long.

in the beginning I was actually forced to watch tutorials because unity's documentation is so messed up and the examples are terrible if they're even there, but a set of creators on git made better ones and now it's so easy to just write you're own code

Ive been recently trying to make a big game, i did stuff partislly myself and partially fron tutorials 😅 from now on i plan to do things myself by learning from the docs and brainstorming. Is this a good idea?

    • @computernerd8157

Study the docz on the languange and the game engine. Tutorials can be used as a template, but docs will give you wings. Also do not neglect studying computer science and math from time to time.
