By selecting a melee unit and missile unit, you can toggle melee mode on & off so you can set your infantry to specifically target a certain unit with their javelins without ever attempting to engage. I accidentally worked that out.
When a unit kills a lot they gain chevrons, I was wondering if it was connected to the price of the unit vs how much “money” the unit killed, example if my guy got a chevron after killing an enemy unit could I look at it and go “oh looks like my bottom of the barrel trash Gallic nutsack warriors got a lot of effectiveness for their value and paid for themselves” is the gaining of a chevron for a unit attached to a set ratio of effectiveness?
Another best Tip, Grand Campaign Characters lived over 120+ yrs GC Characters cannot die in Natural Cause if they're recently resigned from Military & sent on missions in a turn like Organise Games, send Envoy,Vacation & sent as Diplomats Although useless as Generals mostly defensive,FactionWide Passive traits like +3 Public order all Provinces, +2 Political influences & +5 Political Parties Loyalty still in good use. My Censor (fully promoted Roman Character) still in active duty over 100+ yrs which is 70+ turns in Grand Campaign Make sure Auto-Save is active in case you forgot to keep them active
56 related, is Shieldwall also better? I have the issue when I do the Shieldwall that my unit decides to stop facing the enemy. Awesome video, I didnt know some of them and I am already 1K hours into the game.

I was gonna say that one too, that helpt me a lot when I learnt it, especially with Noble Horse Archers and Thureos/Agema Spears.

70% i already kne, bc of previous videos, but good to have it all briefly in 1 vid
Pressing J will command your troops to make a 180 turn, great for quick reaction for those rear Calvary charges
weird how sparta gets siege tortoises since they historically had a lot of difficulty with sieges and wouldn't even bother
That was a lot…
Can you please make a video where you show all the fortresses and the corresponding land map and put them into a tier list
