Princess Diana Wedaga Ayongo says that “the northern part of Ghana is undoubtedly a very beautiful place with its unique cultural heritage.” Drums are performed during many events in Northern Ghana. In this episode, Wedaga introduces you to drummers and trained dancers from the Wusongo Bawio Wupolo group who performed to entertain their audience. In all the choreography and solo dancing, the dancers display different skills and moves to try and confuse the drummers. Watch how careful the base drummer watches the dancers to start and end whit their moves. the pipers set the tunes for the dancer, who display their skills for the drummer to try and beat the drums in tune with the dancing moves.
