I love what Epiphone is doing, but cannot get behind the indian laurel fretboard. The Standard 60's Epi I own has an extremely porous fretboard which can be felt while playing.
Nice case, I’d buy it for the case! I don’t know who Tommy Thayer is but he must be a good guitarist. Oh as I’m writing this I see he was in Kiss. Why am I writing all this? I like the purple look in certain lighting.
@@guitarswithdavid4422 they were backed up and I offered to pay more . Suddenly poof it's ready ... It feels like a $75 junk guitar. Honestly I'm sad about it lol. I'm laughing but I'm not. It feels horrible to play. Like you need vice grips and not smooth or easy to play at all ? I did tell them low and smooth... It's nothing like I asked.
I just ordered one be here Saturday!!! Can’t wait
Wow what a Paint Job! Thanks for the demo Sir.

Wow, that is Beautiful!
I dont get it, Epiphone puts Seymour Dunkans in this but not the Slash?!
Why
Great review, where do you buy your Epi’s from? The packaging in the case is well done. Thanks for posting.
Thanks! This one came from Musicians Friends. They usually do a great job at packaging and shipping.
Hi there! I'm kinda of a grease-phobic person. Does conditioning the board leave any oil getting on your hands when you play?
Not that I have ever experienced. If you put too much in, and leave it for too long it might have residual oils seep up for a few days.
@@guitarswithdavid4422 what kind of oil do you recommend or did you use?

Il case è fantastico...😍
Hell yeah! 👏

LOL!
I thought he was the dude from the band Icehouse!
@@bltvd LOL! That's Iva Davies!
Looks purple in some light & also green sparkles too. It's awesome looking in person. Pics & videos don't do it justice.
Keep up the good work David!
What's the weight of the guitar?
8.6
Want one!
sounds like alot of buzzing when it was rockin!!
For $900 I think there are better options. The case is rad, I gotta admit.
I own this guitar & it is awesome, absolutely worth the money. The Seymour Duncans are excellent.
Ace frehley would be proud...wait a sec.
Lol!!
Man great demo but please....ease up on the gain knob !😟
I have it. Paid for set up @ Charley's Guitar shop in Dallas. Plays like a piece of garbage. Is it the guitar or the set up ? Makes me wanna cry lol
Did they ask you how you wanted it set up, and what style of music you’ll be playing on it?

@@kevinworkchannel I’d take it back to them and have them redo it
Beautiful guitar, but I don't want someone else's name on my guitar. Never got that. Just sayin...
Why in the world does Thayer deserve a signature model given all he’s done-- and has ever done-- is cop another guitarists signature licks?
Nice looking guitar but that playing at the end sounded very muddy, awful
I turned both tone knobs all the way down for the first time. I didn’t like the result either
