Reason are: once He choose to comeback Kbiz as actor/singer/rapper, I’m sure He’s ready for the public events. It’s unavoidable. Secondly, He didn’t announce or post on his IG account that He wasn’t attending. It was posted from media and Netflix. So This is my theory: Director talked a little bit about why He chose TOP as Thanos in SG2. Because of the objections from Netizens and K-media. So Director didn’t want to spill much about TOP’s character in SG2. He said He wants the audiences watch the series first before criticizing. Therefore, If TOP showed up at the promotional events, his character will be exposed too early. If y’all read all the critiques from the promotional event on December 9, A lot of them mentioned TOP aka Thanos was the important role of SG2. My guess is The production and Director wanted to keep the excitements at last, till the series officially released.
Squid game fans have waited for several years for a Season 2. The last thing on our minds is about TOP joining the cast. This show was popular before him, however his fans are being obnoxious under all the videos. I sincerely hope his role is small and his character leaves early, so the REAL fans of the show can enjoy it in peace.
