Thanks champ! You should post this as its own comment for visibility! @@Fr_dG
@@Fr_dGsmall correction, the Pathfinder is closer to about 21 minutes in
And my other comment seemingly got removed for some reason but you should post these as a separate comment for visibility! Thanks champ
@@Fr_dGHero you 😎👍🏼
you went though all that trouble just for us 🥺
That buck for 400 bucks is being bonkers
Did you have to do this video bc DCA had too much anxiety about handling so many non finger safe closing knives 🔪 this week. 😆 great job. Awesome stuff.
Non finger out the way closing method knives with slightly larger than average hands is a serious problem!
But DCA likes slipjoints and often mentions how they are finger safe when you open/close them with “proper” form! 🤲👏 (that’s my attempt to show the finger-safe method in emoji form lol)
@@TBSxDRUMS touché 😆
I really enjoy David C. Anderson as a video expert for Knifecenter. He is very educated. His presentation is very confident and trustworthy. Thank you - Dr. Z
Love that 112 drop
I have the milled ti Rokot. The scales are all one milled piece- the milled lines are not inserts. The milling adds some truly meaningful grip and the length/weight makes for an excellent big easy knife.
The "wiggle" in the lock for the real steal evolution is the design language of Carson tech labs. All of his frame locks have that "wiggle".
The *"wiggle"* cutout in the RealSteel Evolution is a signature thing done by Carson and acts as a built-in lockbar stabillizer. It was on his previous design the Megalodon as well.
I wish you all would sell MKT. It would be nice to have them available locally.
Y'all never get many Chris Reeve's either? Could you get more of them?
I love that Remington hawkbill, but $200 for 1095 is a bit high, also that brand, they shouldnt be charging more than $100-$125ish...
Please do more episodes of Between Two Knives!!!
I love those too! I was so happy when I saw the format coming back with a new episode! 🥰
That last knife, The Defiant 7 M320 is based off of the M3 fighting knife (AKA the M3 trench knife) of WW2.
holy cow that remington is a banger wtf
Put me in the love category for the mini osbourne
Much better photography this week
😂😂
Man... Gimme those fix blades!
12:58 I was about to say! I usually close my slipjoints one-handed, with my thumb, and a sharp 90° angle caused the blade to snap into my fingers more than once before. That's why I don't like half stops. But this one seems actually nice, and as if it won't cut into the side of my index finger when it snaps into that almost half stop. Every friggin half stop needs to be noticeably above that nasty 90° mark.
I'm guessing that squiggle on the Reel Steel frame lock might be a landing spot for a finger to help keep from squeezing the lock while opening/closing
Looked like it could be disassemble it for a bottle opener
@@Magnum_Expresslol
How though? 🤔
@@Leftyotismdont know. but if you look at the profile, its literally in the shape of a bottle opener.
@@Magnum_ExpressSorry, the "How though?" was addressed at the comment opener.
Thanks for sharing. Interesting collection.
The Remington hawkbill knife is most often used (in my experience) by electricians when stripping insulation off of cables, and wires, and tape off of conductors after a wire pull. I’m not sure if it had an intended purpose before this but I haven’t met one electrician who didn’t have one of these knives in their kit at some point! Looks PRETTY!
Yeah, but electricians buy them off the Klein rack or at Lowes for a lot less than $300.
34:57 it reminds me of an old army bayonet. Like a ww1 version cut down. I love it! Very cool.
The red blade is not my thing.
Yeah... How am I to see the blood if it's already red?
Benchmade has made complete boneheaded decisions for a couple of years now. It didn’t surprise me at all.
Sorry dude unwatchable too slow get through the knives.
But it looks so innocent from afar!
@@randaleberle4489 Go watch something else then, if you don't like Seth and DCA presenting knives. Silly boy.
That Buck 112 almost looks like a Bob Dozier design... 😎
That “wave” on the Real Steel Evolution framelock is the typical design language of Huang Carson. He has it on all his custom framelocks I believe. I don’t think it serves a real purpose apart from looking cool.
Definitely seen that "wave" or whatever on Huang's frame locks, cheers I couldn't remember the gentlemans name who designed the knife :)
I love it and have one on the way from you guys!
Good to see you again Seth. The only slipjoint knife I carry is a Swiss army tinker. I like button lock, assisted, and cross bar.
That 112 is just screaming my name.
Great show thanks
Liked the daggers. Recommend including more daggers 😊
Time stamps please 🙏
17:15 Double Detents are (imo) best with a flipper, because you can easily flip them open and then also flip them closed, and they are legal to carry where I live as a one-hand-opener, as it doesn't lock! I really love seeing more and more Double-Detents!
Bring on that innovation!
good to see you again Seth
That real steal evolution is sick. It's pretty much a 1 for 1 of the Carson tech labs Evolution or Evo... Super sick!
That man's mustache gives me confidence, I trust him.
Not usually my style, but that 945 is cool. Something about grey plus a primary color just looks cool.
Really loving Real Steel pushing out that innovations!
I think you are right about the suprlativf being hand ground…if it’s OEM’ed by reate which it most likely is, I’ve heard from makers and shops that Reate hand grinds all their blades
Defiant 7 link doesn't work
Congrats Thomas!!!
That Real steel Luna Lux is a super clean design, love it's overall look!
Buck Knives has just went stupid with prices! $325 for the 112 😂
It's different without the bluesy background music lol 🎶
Great job Seth!
Where's DCA?
Serenity, like the movie, looks great.
Why not do a DCA fixed blade?
That Real Steel 'Ventis" blade looks EXACTLY like a CJRB Riff... like so much so I question if it's the same blade on a different knife.
Lovely that little Begg.
Well done Seth! My favorite KC videos are the ones with you and David. It would be nice to see more of that.
Wow Thomas, did you read that?
I got the crescent 3-1/4" Drop Point Composite Handle Pocket Knife CPK325C, in a two pack for like 20 bucks. And absolutely love them I would love your guys's thoughts on this knife
The last is a take on the M3 from WW2.
that Rook 6 would be so cool to fondle with that heavy titanium handle. I cant even imagine how great that would feel
I like my steel nekked, but a colored coating gives it a nice and non-knife look from further away.
Does anyone want to pay more to Benchmade for G10 handles over aluminum?!
Thanks for the heads up about the slip joint section. That’s a big skip for me.
The Remington knife would be perfect for cutting vinyl, like in kitchen floors, or other flooring. I used one not nearly as fancy, but it was 1095. I think most work grade hawk bills are. A stone is a must have for any decent flooring guys toolbox , so the edge isnt really an issue, as long as you keep it sharp.😊
Yo, if there was a Super Bowl of knife steels, who would be in the Super Bowl and how close is the battle?
6:09 That's a neat Sheepsfoot with a Reverse Persian edge! Love the steel!
Really just want Real Steel to revisit the Terra. Another great Poltergeist design that would be a phenomenal edc with ball bearings in the pivot and maybe some micarta handles this time.
"Hate" is a little strong to describe how I feel about the Osborne. I just don't care for the color. It doesn't speak to me. Definitely want some of the other blades on the table. I appreciate all you do to show us the "coolest new knives that have just hit [your] shelves". Thank you, Seth, and everyone involved.
You care enough to speak out against it though haha. 😅🤭
Is it an overtravel arrestor that is integrated into the shape of the frame lock?
I like that little black widow.
Who makes the Remington knife ?
When Real Steel comes out with the saber Pathfinder in brown micarta and uncoated blade, I might just have to.
No way that 112 is with that price
i dont have much faith in a G10 pocket clip
damn, is that version of the tirant already sold out?
Please tell bestek to make a 3ish inch swordfish Thank-youforthe,Awesome informational videos!
Defiant 7 Knives link is not working.
Are we going to get chapters?
We love our boy Thomas. Enjoy the vaca
My wife got me the Osborne 945RD for my 50th. Unbelievable knife. I love it!
Why no automatics or OTF?
My local knife store actually had those exclusive Osbornes in the other day. I held them. Pretty cool.
Where’s DCA?
why would they put a titanium inlay on titanium scales. Thata just maka no sense!
28:54 It's overbuilding it to make is extra stay in place eh, so it won't deform away from locking that tang.
Price please!!!!
I don't know, G-10 pocket clip seems like a bad idea. I'd crack that thing the first time I pocket it.
g10 is pretty durable. ive used the back of my crkt drifter handle to pry open a beer bottle a couple times and it barely did anything to it.
Benchmade 945 s90v Milwaukee edition :) i'de buy one, if i didn't alreaddy own a standard version, and the price wasn't so blankity bleeping high
What's up Ned!!!
Interested in the Real Steel for sure, but even more so if it breaks in to the point where you can get it to drop shut.
That last k ife looks like a glock field knife.
It's based off of the m3 knife from the 1940's. Now I'm wondering if Glock was also inspired from the m3 🤔
Your Suprlativ The Tirant Link is broken: It says 'New" and "Discontinued" for the one you showcase and the ones available are much more expensive =(
also this knife is not even on their own website.
Thomas, I miss your video chapters! 😟
Your website says the “Tirant” is discontinued.
If you are out there Thomas, put the time stamps in
I left the stamp at the office
Hey Thomas ''
Hey
Bringing that big NPR energy
Love these extra special segments of the KC's New Knives of the week, always nice to see Seth in front of the camera. Hope DCA is okay and that Thomas os enjoying his time off, probably working on his truck lol
Non lock back is not fidget friendly. It's fidget dangerous.
👌
Where the timestamps go??
Hey Seth ''
The s shape in the frame lock\button lock is in there anniversary line. That's all I know
Can your prices get any higher?
Hey Seth!
Does Real Steel have really nice fit and finish, or is sandvik just getting really expensive?
To start off a video with a beautiful USA made reverse Tonto and not have Thomas in the background feels wrong...
So very wrong
I know, right?
Good job Seth. Thanks
Yeh. Great.
