my pump motor sounds like it is seized when i turn it on, just a buzz, but i can turn the shaft with my fingers. anything that i can do internally to the pump itself or will i just have to replace it. thanks polaris pb4
Well, it’s 13 years later but for anybody that happens to have the same problem. Check the capacitor. A capacitance meter is not that expensive. Neither is a new capacitor. I always keep a spare laying around at all times.
There are two versions of the PB4-60 Booster pump. This is the old one produced up to 2011. The two different versions use different seal sets.
