Thank you!!!! 🩷🩷
Focusing on what brand matches your style the most makes sense. It makes it easier to style and helps build towards better treatment with a brand, as you mentioned. I personally like the variety of different brands and I find that it makes my Chanel RTW more versatile. I find it harder to dress edgy or pull off casual looks in head-to-toe Chanel compared to mixing it with some edgier brands. But your RTW collection is more extensive than mine so it may make it easier to have casual looks for Chanel.
I mix in a lot of Abercrombie/Zara/random high street brands to get the look I want. But as far as designer I find it easier to keep it simple

Please!!!!!
Yes! What do you think was the spend to get there? What are some of the cool perks?
Ok let me put some thought into this! I’ll do a video! 🩷🩷
Yes please
Maddie you look absolutely fantastic in this video. Love your entire look - clothes, jewelry, makeup - all of it! This was a great video and helps me stay firm about my own resolutions. Thank you!
Thank you so much!!
Love hearing you talk about your resolutions! Often people make them and you never hear about them again. I just made one resolution...stick to my Hermes wishlist. I had the Evelyn TPM and black Garden Party on the list for this year and I got them both. Now I've just decided to stay with Hermes for the rest of the year. The resolutions and wishlists have really worked for me!
Yes & Yes, Admire honesty & curating a legitimate wish list to acquire instead of just an untouchable dream.
Yes! Sticking with one brand really does make life easier! Also helps with spending haha in some cases!
You are a Chanel girl through and through. I am too. I have stopped buying bags tho and focus more on ready to wear and slg’s and shoes.
Love it! I’m more focused on vintage pieces, want to endeavour in the ready to wear too!
The bags are great but you only need so many! I love the RTW and the shoes are so fun!
I am just starting my Hermes “journey” so that is my focus for a while. I am planning a trip to Paris early next year so hoping to get an appointment there. I am a brand loyalist too. I would love to venture into more Chanel Ready to Wear.
Good luck on your journey!! Stay focused and it will happen!
Maddie
You are chanel
Its your style and you love the brand.
Smart decision ❤
Thank you!! 🥰🥰
I really think your decision to stick to Chanel is smart for all the reasons you mentioned. To be honest, you are such a Chanel style woman, from your bags to jewelry to clothing style to yes, even fragrance (and forgive me, I just don't think Hermes and Chanel are complementary to each other and think even the Birkin even clashes with your Chanel aesthetic).
Agree, Chanel is definitely her vibe! Maybe because I’m bias as a Chanel lover😁
Sticking Chanel has definitely made my life easier… and H just continues to complicate it 🫠
Hi Maddie, if you love Chanel, then definitely stick with it, until it feels , that something is missing ( if that ever happens ) it happened to me. In January i still was buying Chanel, and then all plans switched i want more edgy Fashion- old Celine archives, Phoebe philo brand and got even from Prada a few Pieces. Great quality, no Prada big logos, so can be paired with other brands. Still love some Chanel, more so Karl’s era Chanel, mostly dresses, keeping them, the rest i sold. And new collections really doesnt inspire me. Their fine jewelry, i still love, but not costume Have a blessed day 🙏❤️
I love Chanel FJ!!
I love that you're sticking to it. my focus is to now buy. i lost my job Jan 2024. but if I was still employed I would be focused on chanel, I want the 22 so bad and also another 19 lol. maybe sprinkle some Bottega Veneta but stick with chanel. I'm an edgy dresser but deep down I'm girly. chanel speaks to me, its too cute.
You’re def a Chanel girl. When you’re on a budget and don’t have unlimited funds it’s hard to spend everywhere. Can you share your latest bag collection and what bags didn’t work out?
Yes I will work on this! Recently I have cycled out a few since I’m trying to keep the total number under 20! It’s harder than it sounds!
Didn’t you buy that almond holder whisper a wish necklace this year?
Oh I guess *technically* but to me that’s more “other accessories” than a necklace. I will never wear it as a necklace.
My resolution this year was to slow down on Hermès and I totally did. I’m bored of it anyway. I cannot focus only on one brand for too long, at some point, I need a change. That being said, I saw myself shopping more at Chanel. Not much for their rtw, I have couple pieces but it doesn’t fit my day to day life that much, I feel it’s always a bit too dressy for me. My focus this year, is more fine jewelry than anything else really and I love Chanel fj. I’m like you though when it comes to mix match brands, my rule is 2 brands MAX and ideally one without logo. Like I don’t mind wearing a LV coat with a Hermès bag because there’s no logos really . But I will never get caught wearing Dior, LV and Chanel together, it’s too much in my eyes. And it’s probably why I stick to very few brands so I can at least match the bags and shoes together. It’s probably my OCD! 😂
I am in love with Chanel FJ!! And I agree Hermes collecting has an expiration date. After a while you have all the bags you need!
As we mature, LV, Prada, Gucci doesn’t tick the boxes as much as they used to. It’s a process, know that your thots are valid, & you’re not alone here🌹
Thank you and totally agree!
I respect your luxury resolutions🧡... but Chanel is most disappointment for recent years(the quality😣😣💔, just my opinion), I am lucky to owned all the "classic" bags from few years back, before everything going downhill. LV is my FIRST love, my oldest bag was from my first paycheck which was 28+ years ago, and she still sitting beautifully in my shelf. I don't buy every LV bag, only the limited edition or that piece make my heart sings.
Interesting topic! I try to keep my “eye on the prize” and not get distracted. I’m focusing on my dream bags (various brands), fine jewelry, and Chanel RTW; trying to slow down on slg and accessories. 🥹🤞🏾
Yes slgs are so fun but they are definitely a distraction!!
