This is the first time I’ve seen one with the belt buckle like this. It’s very neat. The more you work in it the easier it gets. I was born the same year they started making them so I kinda grew up around them. I wish they were a club with these that way we could pass helpful tips, when it comes time to repair them.
A club with tips would be awesome! We picked one up at a thrift store. His neck moves, but his mouth doesn’t and he doesn’t dance. We checked the belt and gears and they both appear fine. Any other things to check? Thanks! Sonya
@@sonyamartin7655 on the left ankle lift up the white material and you should see a little what I believe is called a potentiometer make sure it has 2 wires connected to it. If not find the second and solder it back on.
Beehappy$ it is quite common for these to stop dancing. Just simple wear on the animatronics. If someone used the wrong voltage plug it can fry the motherboard. I used rubber bands for the motor. A good fix that lasts a while. Thank you
crittrkpr I just undid the staples that are stapled to the plastic chest bottom and and back. His arms were a little more tricky but you can undo the meck inside. Hope this helps.
Lindilee Kildow I am unfamiliar with the motion sensor. If I had to assume either the wires became disconnected or the motherboard fried. Sorry I couldn’t be much help. Thank you for your question.
I’m gonna trade my Life size Dancing Santa with a friend who owns my local pizza parlor. He has the same Santa as mine but has a flat base. Mine will be more enjoyable for her.

@@sonyamartin7655 I’d check the board to make sure it’s not fired! If it is the components would be corroded

Use hot glue to put the pants on then whenever you need to you can just heat up the hot glue and take them off
The only reason why the mouth was not working at first was the latex was stuck to the plastic.
