- We loaded up the van for a drive to the Lennox Addington Dark Sky Viewing Area. It's a bit of a long drive taking country roads through Orangeville and The Holland Marsh. I brought my Olympus OMD EM-1 MK2 with the 7 to 14 mm F2.8 and the OM-1 with the M.300mm F 4.0. I planned on using the Sky Tracker Pro to see what I could capture. I wasn't disappointed. The Red Dot Sight helped me zero in on the Pinwheel Galaxy when a friend pointed it out with a laser through his tracking scope. Burleigh Falls was beautiful on the way home.

Wow what a great video. A excellent impression of the area there. Looks like there are many photographic oppertunitys for a landscaper like me also 😂 that spaceship house what was that? Does like skywalker live there? 😂 the area look sindeed like the badlands. These have been on my ever growing wish list 😂 grt guido
Wonderful trip, when I see your videos, I tell myself that this is real life.
Thanks very much Gianni: It was a very nice trip. The Whipper Wills were very loud all night long. I was very fortunate to get a shot of The Whirlpool Galaxy it's 250 Million Light Years Away!!! As I was setting up a fellow came in with a Computer Controlled Telescope. When he was aligned to the Galaxy I asked him to shine his Laser through the finder scope, with my red dot sight I got pretty close then a couple 30 second test shots and I was ready to start shooting a stack of images to combine in Star Stacker Pro. I really appreciate you watching and commenting. Likes, Shares and comments all help big time. Mike
really like your videos and the way you narrate them very good.
Thanks very much for watching 👀 😀. I appreciate and enjoy your thoughts 😊. This was a fun video to make.
I love your videos, always positive and I get to see things I will never see in person. The flat farming area you passed through however, is almost identical to where I live in the UK. It is flat as the eye can see here too, mostly arable farming with lots of carrots grown locally. Please keep the videos coming , I definitely appreciate them.
Thanks Paul: The Holland Marsh is and has been for a long time a great source of Carrots, Onions and all kinds of crops. I hope it continues to be for a very long time. Appreciate you watching and commenting it really helps. Mike
@@bellasvistas3463 I actually live in the South 'Holland' area of Lincolnshire, UK. It got its name because back in the 1960's-70's and 80's when there were more tulips grown here than in Holland. It was once the largest carrot growing area in the UK. I think it was the first part of the UK to start growing carrots again back in the 1960's. Its very flat and highly fertile farm land. Best wishes and take care.
