Great reaction! This song / recording released this past winter along with the release of his first and only album. It was the only totally new song on the album. It surprises me that neither reactors nor commenters know this. However, this video of the actual video recording of the audio recording is new.
My definition of "hype" means over hyped by media and/or industry and/or industry organizations, such as awards committees beyond what they actually receive in fan interactions or market activity or consumption, sales, etc, and so in that regard, Chris Lunsford is way, way under hyped and always has been. A good example of why he is not "hyped" is that almost no one knows that this song is not new, but came out on his album last winter; almost one year ago. If he had "all that hype" the media would be writing about or announcing all of his songs as big hits even as they aren't. Examples of "all that hype" would be Cardi B, who was never really a powerhouse on the charts, but yet most people think so and almost everyone in America has heard of her.
His vocals are just so expressive!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻for Oliver
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻for you, Brian.

Not trying to be mean, but I just don't understand the hype with this guy.
