This was so informative and funny. I grew up camping but it has been 40 years. I am ready to get back into it, and now I know what my father went thru. We had a 27' Coachman and camped every weekend during the summer. Great memories. Thank you for bringing them back. And tell Eric you can bake a pizza in the oven!

Nice simple video of the basics. Only one thing I would say different would be with the water filter. If its brand new run water through it until it comes out clean before connecting to the camper.

I know this video was done a few years ago but I have just watched it and I love the fact your company has a "campsite" on the premises. What a brilliant idea, especially for those who have never done anything like this before. Great to have people onsite to help out for a first timer. It was a very informative video too.

Question: Should the water filter go on the other side of the hose, to filter out any bacteria and plastic smell the water may pick up while traveling through the hose?

I Loved the video!! My husband and I just purchased a used EXTREMELY Nice Coachmen Catalina Santara 272BH 2013. Everyone keeps saying you got a nice one and even though it is COVID-19 currently and we can't go camping we are using it in our backyard. Not the sewer or water of course but it has electric. I am so grateful that this video was of a newer model of the Catalina because I know at some point we will possibly upgrade. However, the one we have now is perfect for our truck!!

Great vid and great presentation and humor (without being obnoxious)! Me and my partner just bought our first RV (2017 Jayco Jay Flight). We drive to KY (originally from there) next week to pick it up and bring back home to FL. Although, I grew up RV-ing with my family, this is MY first time and def nervous. Thanks for such an informative vid (that I will watch a couple more times before next week).

Well Sir I tip my hat to you...absolutely well done. I even like the fact you leave your mistakes in. My wife and I just purchased a 19 foot Roo or about 6 meters if you like metric better. We will definitely be getting us a surge protector. I like those locking devices that go in between the tires...I will get me those as well.

Great video! I would just add one thing. Try to put your water filter at the end of your hose, not the beginning. As a water filtration operator I can tell you that your hose will have bacteria in it.

He put it on the RV side, is that the beginning or end? I thought if he put it at the RV end then the water would travel through the hose and just before entering the RV would get filtered, thus filtering out any bacteria gathered along the way. Is that what you recommend Ryan?

One more thing...our dealer here in GTA suggested a Fastway e2 load leveler and sway control...you may wish to look at these units...have some great advantages to the one you had on your coach and truck.

I noticed you said to make sure all water valves are closed before turning on park water connection. I am a newbie and i heard someone say to have the valves OPEN to release some air, THEN turn on the pressure park water connection. Then of course make sure to close all valves inside. Thoughts?

Great info. New to camper ownership (21 coachmen clipper 17fq), and tho used to dry camping, going to a spot with full hookups this week and thought I'd see if I'm missing anything. Extension cord - just in case.

When you setup do you keep the slides in while you level and or stabilize you Travel Trailer? This is one of the better step by step info.

I love this. Junior is great. He taught me how to find the sweet spot when unloading the RV from the hitch. Now I need to see how to find the sweet spot when loading.
