And that’s what Denver does, play old skool ball where everyone has a roll and they use their rolls effectively with the leadership of Jokic….
I diagree with the Jordan part though. Early in his career yes i agree. Once he accepted the triangle offense Jirdan clearly allowed Pippen to be the best verson of himself. Thanks for pointing out what I always loved about Magic (Bird too, but only since he retired will I admit that), he got his teammates to play at a level that they would never have reached had they played on another team. He got "average" players to play like superstars and that was his real talent. Lol Chris.... BIRD HIMSELF said the league got diluted/watered down in the '90s when expansion teams were added '88/'89/'95. Rodman said in '96 the league was so watered down they could beat teams with their eyes closed. Remember the Bulls lost PRIME MJ yet their record changed TWO GAMES. Also the Nuggets have 4 guys who could be All Stars on other teams & are all 4 between 25-29 with years of chemistry built up. That's the dynasty recipe the Bulls/Spurs/Warriors had. Why are you so triggered over LeBron bro he don’t know you
How is he exposed? He’s 39
Years old and took his team to the western conference finals last year. Nuggets have beat everyone the last two years not just lebron.
Same way Jordan was exposed by the when he played for Wizards then ig. No phil Jackson to save his ass
Jordan, Magic and Bird were like conductors to a symphony.. more so Magic, they were dominant in many ways in skill sets, but, these players could lead their teammates to score or set them up to help the teammates score. And that’s what Denver does, play old skool ball where everyone has a roll and they use their rolls effectively with the leadership of Jokic….
Thought you guys said lebum makes everyone better?
That was part of the Lebron narrative until they found out that people have to take away from their game to adapt to Lebron.

I diagree with the Jordan part though. Early in his career yes i agree. Once he accepted the triangle offense Jirdan clearly allowed Pippen to be the best verson of himself. He coukd have kept running iso which would have taken away from Pippen main triats which is passing and slashing on offense. Pippen is comparable to Murry for Jokic.

Thanks for pointing out what I always loved about Magic (Bird too, but only since he retired will I admit that), he got his teammates to play at a level that they would never have reached had they played on another team. He got "average" players to play like superstars and that was his real talent. I always explained it this way; Magic would always get the ball to the player with the highest chance of scoring and he would expect you to take the shot. Like a Grand Master in chess, he knew how to use all his pieces on the board. Loved the Lakers when he was playing.
Rob Parker doesn’t like, or give props to ANYBODY.

For him to be SO complimentary towards Jokic recently is weird…
He is glaringly great it’s hard to discredit
You hit the nail on the head with this one. Really good podcast.
Broussard, apologize to Jokic for not voting for him last year.
Grew up loving show time Lakers watching Magic conduct the prettiest and most dominating offense in the NBA. Boy Joker is only guy who orchestrates a game the same way. Just beautiful to watch. And he does not care about his personal stats just controlling ebb and flow of the game knowing when to step in or not.
Lakers fans really wanted Denver 1st round 😂😂
Lol Chris.... BIRD HIMSELF said the league got diluted/watered down in the '90s when expansion teams were added '88/'89/'95. Rodman said in '96 the league was so watered down they could beat teams with their eyes closed.
Remember the Bulls lost PRIME MJ yet their record changed TWO GAMES.
Also the Nuggets have 4 guys who could be All Stars on other teams & are all 4 between 25-29 with years of chemistry built up. That's the dynasty recipe the Bulls/Spurs/Warriors had.
MPJ won them game 2 & Gordon won them game 3 keeping the Nuggets in it when Lakers were building leads.
At this point i put Jokic in the same air as Moses Malone, with Hakeem higher up the totem pole. Lets see how high the Joker can get, cos he is playing unvelievably 😮

Against the Timberwolves will be a very big challenge for the Nuggets. Every player must give more than 100% to have a chance to win against the Timberwolves !!
Brute force is helpless against big brain plays. Casuals just don’t know, but the result comes down to: Jokic IQ > LeBron IQ
lebron IQ = "idiot quotes"
Jordan was like Larry and Bird in way he played his role. As finisher he allowed Scottie to play point forward. Mike like Magic and Larry knew how to read the game when to get guys going and games he needed to take over whole game or down the stretch
Joker play with his brain , others play with strength
“ Tim Duncan ” would play the same exact way on offense keeping everyone involved. Only he would anchor the defense too!
Damn Chris, can you please allow Rob some air time?
The Nuggets team is constructed almost perfectly. Each player plays their role perfectly, but the whole is better than the sum of its individual parts. They are a machine that works efficiently together. Joker is the engine that runs the whole machine, though.
Tyrese H. Just did that to the Bucks. J. Kidd also was like that and should have had atleast 1 MVP when he took the Nets to back to back Finals.

He carried Kobe hard in 2000
Kobe was very very good/great in those playoff runs in his own right, but when you average mid 30's and like 13-16 rebounds and multiple blocks, plus being the most physically dominating/unstoppable force the game has seen since Wilt, it's not hard to get why some people say Shaq carried that 3-peat.

You don't think Scottie, Harper, Kukoc, BJ etc.. didn't sacrifice their respective games for the betterment of the Bulls? MJ in my opinion is the greatest, but fans have to stop rewriting history and creating false narratives when it comes to Mike. He's already the GOAT he doesn't need that
@@michaelkelly4314 No, they did not sacrifice and I don’t care if he is the goat. You must have never actually seen the 90’s Bulls play. By that standard MPJ and Murray are sacrificing their games for Jokic.
Pippen’s points went up by 1 and his assists went down without MJ. That’s not a sacrifice.
scottie definitely wanted a bigger offensive role, as did grant, bj, hopson, etc. mj made his teammates better by imparting his knowledge and mentality, not so much with his game on the floor. when he wanted to - when playing the point for example - he easily got 10+ assists per game.
