Please go check the description! ;) easter eggs spoils : 1st easter eggs: - In the second battle in Pokemon Yellow, I decided to put Red's theme as a representation of the final battle against the professor. The reason of that: Pokémon Sun and Moon. When you have defeated the elite four, you automatically become champion. Professor Kukui came as a final test and when you challenged him, your own battle theme is played as a representation of the champion theme. Here in this video, this isn't Oak's theme that was played but the protagonist battle theme. 2nd easter eggs: In my own composition of Professor Oak battle (Red & Blue one) you can hear a variant of his encounter theme + Professor Lab. 3rd easter eggs: I changed his defeat dialogue so it could fit from what he might said if he was defeated. Because as some of you know, he doesn't have his own dialogue. If you follow the tutorial from the glitch, his defeated quote is the last trainer that you have defeated to activate the glitch.
Aidan Coleman I call bs, you cannot get mew without a glitch. Mew was an event only pokemon, and nintendo would copy it into your cart, you canmot get it legit in game otherwise.
What's interesting is I think Oak picks the starter that was left behind at the beginning. Meaning if you pick Charmander, your rival will pick Squirtle, and Oak takes the Bulbasaur. Meaning that while you were exploring the world, the professor was raising the last exotic starter that wasn't picked.
No.. professor oak is a former league champion.. why he has only 5pokemon? It's because his charizard died when he fought with giovanni in viridian city. That's why in the game you can see his grandson in pokemon tower.. because hes visiting the grave of his grandpas charizard

Its actually not a mistake. Since they worked on it but decided against it that means it's still in the code of the game. So someone just found a series of events that triggers it.

I think the future games should allow you to battle Professor Oak, but you must meet these conditions: You completed the Pokédex. You are the Champion of the Pokemon League of Kanto. You are at Level 75 or higher(Professor Oak will tell you to train harder if you don’t meet this requirement.) You can battle Professor Oak once a day. No matter if you win or lose, you can’t battle him again until tomorrow. The rewards are big if you win: You get $30000(+5000 more after each victory), and 5 Full Restores/Full Heals. If you win though, the next time you face him, his team will be 4 levels tougher than the last time you beat him. If you lose, his team remains the same level.

I came up with a brilliant final oak battle that I wish was cannon. Imagine after the end credit you save, return to the game and return to oaks lab after you have completed the pokedex. Oak says, well done you have grown much, but how good are your skills? He lets you pick 6 pokemon, and then oak challenges you to a battle unlike any before.... you must defeat all 151 pokemon in order. Now that would be one hell of a gauntlet!

This was supposed to actually be in the game, but Blue/Gary got the job. We didn't get a Professor that was a champion until very recently with Sun and Moon.
