Great topic! Agree on patent leather, I had high street bag in light pink, turned orange in places, also absorbed print of newspaper 🥲 I also sold my speedy 30 (no straps). I used it lots in uni, but it would get overly heavy and since it had no strap I got tired of it. Now I’m thinking of selling light grey Chanel cf, chain strap is too short, it’s a bit bulky and I dislike double flap 🙃 but I do love the way it looks, however I hardly use it!

I also struggle w the speedy. It’s my very first luxury bag and a gift from my husband. So I will be keeping it. What helped me was actually not using the organizer as it added bulk when I didn’t want it to. But yeah it’s a struggle for me too lol😂.

The patent leather coating turns yellow, so a layer of yellow is added to color under. If it’s white, it will be a dingy yellow. If it’s blue, it will turn green. If it’s pink, it will turn orange.
