Ditch the ketchup, add mustard to the bottom bun, add more lettuce, season the tomato with salt and pepper, and then MAYBE it would be worth $9.
How bout a whopper topped with snail-fed limpkin bird meat?
Clip your fingernails!
it's to much for the flashy show, I remember when it was a 2 dollar whopper lol
I don't even know who the target audience for fast food is anymore. It's certainly not poor or middle-class people who are busy. They can't afford over $8 for a sandwich with any degree of frequency. Is it supposed to be for rich people who are pretending to be poor? Or maybe a 'special treat' for middle-class people to have like once a month? It just doesn't make any sense given the quality of the food.
Teenagers, travelers
Stoners, college students, people who hate themselves
America has 40 million millionaires and like 600 billionaires. Almost like we have a service based economy made to cater to them at this point.
I'm poor. Lots of fast food places have offers/coupons in the app. BK has the best ones.
McDonald’s released a report that they pretty much lost sales from everyone making less than 50k a year.
Almost $10 for just a sandwich...fast food pricing has gotten out of hand
7.29 here. Almost $5. 😊
When fast food places completely forget their role in the food hierarchy lol. Their own employees can’t afford to eat there. And who the f are they marketing to? High income households usually don’t go to fast food places and mid-low income households can’t justify the prices so who does that leave? It’s a pretty idiotic business strategy.
@@axe2grind244it’s inflation not a business decision
@@princekubakuba9682 It's not actually inflation, it's a combination of ridiculous government-enforced labor laws combined with some good ol' fashioned corporate greed. The new $20/hr minimum wage goes into effect in California in April and prices are already going up. And if you're a money-hungry CEO who has no conscience and want to make even more money, what better scapegoat could you possibly ask for?
This is just Biden's America.
My mom said she remembers buying a Whopper for .99 cents.
Now it’s $8?… ridiculous!
In the early 2000s, you could get a superstar for 99 cents at Carl's jr, now I think it's $8
True. When my spouse and I were first married, right after college in the early 2000s (we both put ourselves through college and were VERY poor), our "treat" was $.99 Jumbo Jacks from the Jack in the Box right down the block from our apartment. Now, they are $5.49, or with cheese, they are $5.99. While we are better off now (although not by much, considering how expensive EVERYTHING is), I refuse to pay that much for a basic fast food burger. It's ridiculous.
In the late 90's they would go on sale 2 for $2 all the time. And they tasted goooood!
Not all BK's but there were some that had .99cent Whoppers in the 90's some for a month or so but there was one by me & I ate one a day for a year .99cent.
A BK near me was still selling them for 99 cents in 2003 😮😮😮😮😮
I paid $16 and change for a ghost pepper whopper last year. That was the last time I went to burger king or any fast food place really. The value just isn't there anymore. It certainly encouraged me to cook at home 99% of the time.
Cost $50 for taco bell last year for 3 people, haven't had fast food since. Another industry being destroyed.
The only value in fast food that I can see is McDonald’s 2 for $3.69 deal (used to be 2 for $3.49 only weeks ago, but the price went up). I always get a Double Cheese as well as a 6 piece nugget. The best thing on the McDonald’s menu as far as I’m concerned is the Filet o Fish which comes to just over $5 for just the sandwich. It’s delicious, but at that price I can’t consider it that much of a value.
Exact same here.
That price is insane.
he did say it's the best so it's gotta be😂 or maybe it's just inflation🧐😭
Have you seen Carl's Jr. lately? I won't even bother ATM. It's horrable.
I'm sure as heck not paying a million dollars. You people must have made a killing with Crypto and Onlyfans!
With coupons, we get two Whopper large meals here in Arizona. Can't beat that anywhere. They can keep their special sandwiches.
This man knows how to deal. yeah BK has always been great with coupons@@DJIcenhower
You can actually go to a sit down restaurant with better service and food quality cheaper than some fast food now
Also you're supporting local businesses and the local economy!!!
That's exactly what I do these days! Food is 100x better too
@@breal6729 Here in small-town Minnesota that's pretty much what there is. My niece owns her own restuarant, always busy from a lot of locals.
Where I live my only pizza joint is $23 and up for a large, I wished a Little Caesar's was close by.
I've had similar burgers at real restaurants that were excellent. I doubt BK can compare.
Idk, the last time I sat down at a restaurant I had a cobb salad /w grilled chicken, $22
Google searches for Limpkins must be skyrocketing.
Yup, I Wikipedia searched them out as well! 😂
I love how he smiles when hearing the limpkin. It's just a genuine smile, like he likes hearing their call. And not blaming him at all, it's one of the coolest calls I've heard!
Landscaper collab was tight.
bird collab was better
😂😂😂😂😂
$14 for a fast food meal is bonkers!
in other parts off the world you pay more 20 bucks so....
It is becoming common. Under 10 is nearly impossible.
Chinese takeout lunch special is usually my go to for under $10
Fast food in general sucks, expect in n out, and habit burger…. And wingstop 😅
We're living here though...@Escobbi
Frankly, I find it refreshing that you are doing the Report from an outdoor setting with real life sounds (including the Limpkin). It makes you even more relatable as most of us live in an environment where life sometimes intrudes on our carefully controlled environment.

He is a dapper fellow!
My million dollar idea is to have a Review Brah themed meal, they would make their money back in five minutes!
"You can now eat a cheeseburger that some popular UA-camr also eats. Wow, such delicious. Now let's upcharge people for it."
Could be a the Burger King Review Brah meal. You order it and just get a random meal from the menu.
agree
It would be a plain hamburger with no fries
@@vince5841 True but it would also be the best goddamn hamburger you've ever eaten!
Dropping his bird knowledge.
Pmsl
lol I was just thinking he is very bird like.
I checked my calendar to make sure it was not April first, they want $11.85 for just the burger here around NYC. There is no way I am shelling out 12 bucks at Burger King of all places.
The diet of the limpkin is dominated by apple snails (Ampullariidae) of the genus Pomacea.
This is why I watch this channel.
The rapid rise in cost for fast food trash has just pushed me to use local restaurants more. now its not double for decent food its just 2 or 3 dollars more for much better quality food. Though I still do get mcd's breakfast and coffee cause its fast and has a drive through.
Fast food is quickly making themselves irrelevant. Support local businesses
you're eating poison with no nutirents and mrna...congrats doughball
I only go to fast food chains these days if they have good deals thru the app. McD has good deals in the app so I go there from time to time. $4 for 2 Double Cheeseburgers is a pretty nice deal nowadays. Although between the pandy and fast food price increases, I’ve become a pretty decent cook, so now I go out to eat way less.
If I'm getting breakfast & coffee from a drive-thru, my preference is Dunkin - They have a turkey sausage & egg that I get on a toasted multigrain bagel
@@colleenmarin8907 Dunkin is nice for a while I loved the sweet black pepper bacon croissant
My favorite Immortal has awoken from his slumber to share the news of new mana in the lands.
Bro the chainsaw going in the background has me rolling. Something about ReviewBrah talking about a burger with that chainsaw just going full speed is hilarious.
I wasn't sure if Reviewbrah was joking about limpkins feeding on snails...but indeed they do. I love that we get to learn about birds while listening to a burger review! Glad it was tasty!😊
Imagien the landscaper looking in the screen and thinking, "why tf is this successful looking businessman videoing himself eating fast food???"
That’s why the landscapers are landscapers and @TheReportOfTheWeek is Review Brah brah. They sleepin on an internet icon.
‘Why tf this kid wearing his dads suit talking to himself eating fast food’
The bird was there to voice it's opinion on the sandwich. It said that sandwich was pretty good, but expensive in the area it lives in
This man controls the birds.
I like the sunroom.
That, or suffer the bugs. Florida living
It's called a lanai. A screen wall and roof that is very common in Florida. The mosquitoes are the size of Limpkins.
Me too!
But... Does it work for a vampire?
I looked up the limpkin in Wikipedia. They are one of the least endangered species of bird and have a long wing span. Cool bird.
The name is fascinating too. Do they limp?

@@surgeeo1406turns out, yeah, they do lol
Also, Florida is the furthest north that you will find them.
LIMPKIN PARK!
I tuned in to hear about the "Best Fast Food Burger" available, or so I thought.
Your review of this delicious burger/sandwich was thorough and very tempting. BUT throughout your video, I kept being distracted. Oh no, it wasn't the calling bird, landscaping equipment or even the outdoor setting.
What captivated my attention was your wonderfully tied Full Windsor knot. I even mentioned how nice that knot was to my wife. I even went on a bit of a mild rant about how it seemed laziness is sweeping the land. Laziness, manifesting in the form of those blasted Half Windsor knots, or whatever ugly cousin they drag along with them.
I've always been of the opinion that IF a neck tie is worth wearing, it's worth wearing in the most pleasant form, that of a Full Windsor knot. The Full Windsor always has and always will be the pinnacle of smartly sported neck wear. Devolving to anything less, would be throwing in the towel on humanity itself.
Thank You, thank you for upholding a sense of dignity, fast disappearing from the face of the earth. 🧐
The best idea for a whopper would be a discount. I might buy it if were at a decent price.
$1,000,000 idea: bring back the conveyor belt broiler
how does that help? i have no idea what the difference is between how they do it now and how it was with w,e that is. any explanation would be awesome. im legit curious
Hell yeah
They still have a broiler. Not really sure if its a conveyor
I used to work there when they had those and the burgers were delicious
I love limpkins - I saw many of them during a trip to Louisiana.
No surprise that reviewbrah is as knowledgeable of local birds as he is of fast food
About a month ago I started bringing my lunch to work every day. I can’t afford fast food anymore. It’s getting out of control.
prob better for your health
I legit wouldn't click on these videos anymore if it weren't for Reviewbrah. I just don't care about fast food now
There’s two incredibly alluring things about this video. Obviously, how in the world Burger King gets away with charging $8 for a single sandwich. But also, there are workers in the background doing strenuous physical labor to earn a living. 100 yards away from them is this gorgeous man, making a living eating fast food and talking about it. Which one do you think earns exponentially more? What a time to be alive.
This man is the Walter Cronkite of fast food burgers.
The bird was a nice addition.
Reviewbrah reminds me of my best friend. I’m guessing he was boiling with anger about the noise 😂. Reviewbrah, keeps it professional, per usual.
I think it sounded really nice. It adds to the pleasant outdoor aesthetic.

3 out of 4 BKs in my area closed down.. one was a brand spanking new one, too. Now we only have the one in a Walmart.
The one near downtown Stuart, Florida shut but not the other ones near it. Maybe one particular franchisee is giving up? I don’t know.
Everytime I pass one it’s a ghost town.
@@markiangooley the one by Sam's in Jensen which was pretty dang new closed down and the even newer one on Kitterman & US1 in PSL and a lot more going into Fort Pierce. Not sure if any on PSL Blvd have closed..
As a fan of your work (reviews and also podcasts etc), I really do think that the addition of a somewhat unpredictable environment adds a lot of fun to your videos. It's apparent that you find it slightly amusing when your professional approach gets a bit interrupted by these elements and I join you in your amusement as you try to keep it together.
I think that was the additional charm of your review made in your car. I know you don't really enjoy that anymore, but this outside environment is fun too. Props to the noisy bird..lol .
Unlike the doorbell jumpscare, this time with the bird he didn't come back clutching a knife in hand, lol. I can pick up a pork loin roast kit with veggies for about 10 bucks, add some cabbage and mushrooms and get 2-3 meals out of it. For 12 dollars I can go to the pizza shop across from my job and get a handmade meatball sub that again I can get 2 meals out of. Candied bacon is blindingly easy to make at home, just spread some bacon strips on a baking tray, sprinkle brown sugar or drizzle molasses over it and bake it in the oven, you wind up with the same thing for a fraction of the price they charge.
For the price BK is charging, I'd expect to be eating in a sit-down restaurant with a waiter/waitress and a cook in the background slinging food.
INSANE PRICE.
I thought it would be two patties at least
Nice to hear the Limpkin, it was at risk. Nice to see that it is adapting to housing areas.
6:56 - TRYING SO HARD NOT TO SMILE but you can't help it - that was adorable.
Unsure how families are even getting by anymore? It’s $300 every 2-3 weeks for just me to eat twice a day. When ever my kids drop by and spend a few days here, they prefer what they want to eat and that can cost an extra $150 for 3 people to eat for 2.5 days. It’s insane. Prices are still rising and the portions are getting smaller.
Burger King or one of their competitors should just hire Report of the Week to design fast food items for them.
Leaf blowers drive me INSANE! Nonetheless, you were still intelligible. Another great review, Reviewbrah!
At my local BK in a suburb outside of Tampa, it's $6.59 for the burger and $10.39 for a small meal.
Same here in the suburbs in Chicago
Crazy how much prices vary now across the nation. It's $9.39 here in California, I was gonna try it but I backed out of the order when I saw the price. Absolutely insane.

Actually, it would be the 1920s.
He has the aesthetics for that era including a comic strip character in whosename eludes me.
I've said this a few years ago, that his perfect partner would be an Olive Oyl look-alike to match his aesthetics.
That's actually a killer idea for a book or show
I’ve been watching old movies here on UA-cam lately and I some of the language and dialect reminds me of Review brah so much. Movies from the 1930’s but he always puts me in mind of Patrick Barnes (channel name is the same) brother Thomas. Patrick used to make hilarious videos with his dog Quincy. You’ve probably seen clips, one in particular where Patrick is driving away from his house, and Quincy his white Bechoné is watching from the front window and Patrick cries out “Quincy!!!!” BUT ANYWAY, if you take the time to look up the videos, look for one that mentions Thomas, he speaks in that transatlantic style and it’s spot on, really interesting!

Thanks man for the review. I've been finding out about the new fast food items here. I really don't watch tv, so most of the commercials go right by me. I just found out about the double big mac here on your show. I had no idea they even made it. Thanks.
I bought this burger on a whim about a week ago after pulling up in a drive through and noticing it on their menu. What sold me was, in fact, the garlic aioli. To me, that just makes anything better. I saw "candied bacon" and "bacon jam", yatta yatta... I like that, too, of course. But I think, like my burger, they completely forgot to add the sauce to yours. I took my burger apart and looked for it and saw none. I tasted none. It was still really good! I'll definitely get another! But my heart was kinda set on a little garlicky creaminess added to the flavor, honestly. I'm sure they just forgot to add it.

I think a lot of people missed that. Or aren't old enough to remember. 😅 Deadpan delivery . Killed it.
The aioli doesn't really belong with those other ingredients...however an aioli is traditionally a garlic mayo so calling it a garlic aioli is redundant.
It’s redundant, except that for some reason, here in the USA people seem to think “aioli” means “any flavored mayonnaise of any flavor whatsoever.” I find that bizarre, but it seems to be what we’re stuck with.
If you want to be really technical AFAIK aioli isn’t the same thing as mayo because it uses the garlic itself as the emulsifier instead of egg yolk like mayo does. I could be wrong about that though.
