The broken line pattern from the repeat sensor is a really cool trick
As a part time professional in design and illustration I can say Krita is becoming more and more a standard for me for creating artworks
Really awesome
This is madness...
Distance, time & perspective, really O_o . Incredible features.
And thanks for fuzzy stroke, and fade, didn't understand those like this. Very powerful.
Glad you enjoyed it! Imagine all these options combined! ;) This channel has a lot of videos with brushes as a gift. Enjoy!
Thankyou for making this free software. I really wish krita would look less scary.
scary? then don't mess with other softwares out there or you could be panicked! XD is a joke. //RM
Thank you, Ramon, I always learn something new from your videos. 👍
I was expecting your comment Nino, thanks a lot. That is what I love to hear 😉 //RM
wow... this is so useful ! Thanks for making this video.
Notification gang! :D Can't wait to watch this when I'm feeling better :)
These videos are overwhelming, I learn so much about everything, not only the brushes... I don't know you can draw lines holding V key, I was using the V key to Select Shapes, time to change it :P. Thanks for this videos man
Krita is my absolute favorite art app and all of my art, ALL OF MY ART, including all the thumbnails on my channel have been made on Krita
Amazing video Ramon, thanks for sharing! 10/10
Glad you liked it! Giovanny, time without talking, i hope you are ok //RM
Thanks again for your very clear explanations! Little question, are you going to explain the new smudge engine in a future video? I love the blenders in your impressionist brush pack, but since the upgrade to Krita 5 these 2 brushes seem to behave differently than in Krita 4. I've tried to adjust them, but I don't seem to be able to make them work as before. Your work for Krita is very much appreciated!
Is broken because I was using a trick with the old color-smudge brush engine. The New one is more powerful but the behavior uis a bit different. I plan to fix it asap //RM
This video is a fantastic resource. I'm bookmarking it.
This tutorial was really useful Thank you!
Wow, very helpful! thank you!
Nice! I'm definitely missing out on some of the features by not having a tablet that support tilt, but there's plenty options to experiment with. This sort of reminds me of modular synthesis in a way
Please don't think you can't paint very well without Tilt feature. Some of my artworks have been painted in my laptop where I don't use tilt 😉 //RM
Without tilt can't we rotate the brush direction ?
Wow, this is really helpful! thank you!
That was a VERY INFORMATIVE video thank you.
Thanks, what would you like to know in the next video? //RM
Thank you, this will be helpful :)
My leaf brush, I need to stop from a full vertical flip, I'll need to study this more! :)
Thank you! I jotted this helpful information. Interesting to listen about flow, masked brush and texture.
Flow was covered in part 1 ;)
These videos are life changing! An idea: It would be fun to include the tablet version too, i'd die for knowledge like that.
Ramon here: I Don't have tablet so I can't test Krita there. Así in krita-artists.org if you need help about specific things please. Desde are there and more users with tablet. //RM
@@KritaOrgPainting i usually go there by the first place, i just thought that it would be a nice idea, since you can use Krita on Android tablets. It is fine like that, i do not wanted to criticize at all, it was just an idea ☺️
@@Pufferzsola ok i get it. :) //RM
thanks for this
Again what learned thanks👍
Excellent.
Pure genius. Krita is a dream to use, and to play with and I think it gives unmatched creative potential. It works very well in Linux too. Magic.
Hi, Krita is a GNU/linux native application. but it expanded his target and now is already available on 4 platforms. With more support we could reach even more things, imagine //RM
saludos desde LATAM Bolivia
wow qué rapidez :) respect!
COOL!
👍👍
never thought using time for line interruption. also i dont know how i never noticed the perspective option
just a problem, but I didn't understand the size part. when i select the size option, my brush becomes so small that I can't see it on the art board and it does not make small to large stroke no matter what I select. Rest all the brush types and settings work perfectly fine. Please help me.......
Wich brush?
This video makes me sad 😭 because my tablet doesn't support the tilt sensor. I wish the tilt sensor could be replaced by another input device, such as a keyboard or analog joystick.👍🏼
E' possibile sentire le spiegazioni in italiano, o comunque leggerle in sovraimpressione?
Can someone help me find how to get the same brush rotation as in ''initial direction'' in photoshop?
Go to brush editor and look for "Rotation" option. the select the drawing angle sensor and there active "lock". Let me know if this is ok for you. //RM
@@KritaOrgPainting thank you, I suspected that was the option, but I still can't get it to behave consistently. Do you know if I have to have both Drawing Angle and Rotation ticked? What angle offset should I "lock"?
Hi , what is the best way to transport or save my illustator file and import it to krita ? I tried to save my work from illustrator as svg , but it s lost some features and layers like lighting layers and shadow i made on illustrator , thank you
hello I do not understand why on my Krita interface I do not see the cancellation fleches on the left of the screen like everyone else
What are you refering to? can you provide an screenshot? //RM
Can someone help me? How do I activate the lines corrector? I can't find it and it's getting really frustrating to draw only by my pulse
is in the tool options docker (basic, weight, stabilizer). What workspace are you using ?docs.krita.org/en/reference_manual/tools/freehand_brush.html#smoothing:~:text=Tool%20Options-,Smoothing,-Smoothing%2C%20also%20known //RM
