I calculate your success rate, not at 50%, but at 500%. Remember, you only actually took one cutting, right? You divided it up, but it was truly just one, so you multiplied it into 5! I love a good perspective shift!
To prune back a particular stem, where do I cut? Is it just above a pair of opposing leaves, or anywhere in between two sets of leaves on a small branch? Thank you.
They bloom in cool weather, or when there are at least cool nights. But when it gets too cold it can lose its leaves, or even die back all the way to the ground. One needs to cut them back to the ground if that happens, & it usually grows right back that spring.
Wha time of the year did propagate this?? U did a wonderful job!! Im a subscriber now!! Im hoping that’s good energy toward my trumpet vine propagation attempt!! Thx!!
Depends on where you live. Generally spring is the best time for propagation. In colder climates, early summer is better. In tropical climate rainy season is good. Basically warm and humid weather is better
@@EasyPeasyGardening I have a white colored honeysuckle. I guess it is the same but it covers the panels profusely. I wonder if I can propagate it the same way?

Great point!
Thank you for your clear instructions on propagating these. I wish more videos were as easy to follow as yours.
Thank you so much. Some of my videos take a year to complete.
Thank you for your fantastic easy to follow. I have successfully got six plants looking happy. Will wait for spring.
Wonderful!
Wow such a unique plant and the bright pop of orange is pretty 😍
Thank you for your video I wish I have this plant nearby to get the cuttings and have one in my garden to enjoy it 😘🌈⭐️✨🌟🌺

Anywhere is fine. More growth will come from the node below the cut

I took the cuttings in early spring which is the growth time
Which soil must I have? Lots of water? I am living i a hot area
Boight a plant, and now it is dead
I HAVE CLAY SOIL
General purpose soil is ok. It will need more water when it's young. Once it establishes, it doesn't need that much water.
Thanks

Beautiful
Can I propagate now when they are flowering ? I live in the central valley of California, in October?
You can if you can keep them inside but best time is in spring when it's growth time
Very nice.
