JD, what species of tree has sharp spines growing out of it's bark? I made the mistake of leaning up against one without even really looking at it first! 😩😄
Ouch! I hope you were alright. It might be a black locust. Was it a young tree? I think black locusts only grow spines on their younger wood. (Older trunks and branches have no spines).
