    so where does the exhaust go? pumped down into the water??? reporting like a 2nd grader with incomplete information and no basic questions asked, like how exactly does it work.

      Well, most people know that it goes into a exhaust scrubber, which cleans all the pollutants out of the air and creates slag that is then used to make insulation. Ultimately it ends up in the walls of your house. Which is why the probably didn't mention it.

    So why are the ships that can't connect to shore power allowed in port in the first place?
