Looks like a great knife! But, I can’t see paying $400 or more for it. I’m still rocking my SRK 3V, and it’s never once let me down. And for $120!
I have both knives and the Reiff blows it out of the water in every catagory.
@@Badmofo79 I would fully expect it to. I’m not saying that the srk is on-par with the reiff, just that the srk gets the job done, for a price that I can afford.
This quickly became my favorite knife. It just begs to be used. It is worth every penny.

Love Reiff Knives, awesome quality. Got the F4, F5 and F6 in 3V and a F4 in Magnacut. Was tempted to get the F6 in Magnacut but decided against it, my thoughts being that 3V is better in a large knife and better for chopping than Magnacut because its tougher. Can anyone give their opinions on this? Either way, I will definitely get an F5 in Magnacut, if and when they come out. Also love LT Wright blades and Bark River (have a few of those as well). You guys in the US really know how to make knives!
P.S. Except Survives Knives and scumbag Guy of course. Got robbed of $500.
I was debating getting the f5 or f6. I feel the f5 is the best all around knife since size is in the middle for me. I have the f4 but felt it was just slightly under the length I actually wanted. What are your thoughts?
Did scraping your Ferro rod permanently mar your spine? Or did all the debris come off after cleaning it?
@christopherlarson7579 so it's wierd 99 percent of knives yes it can Mar up the spine a tiny tiny bit. But when I take wd 40 and wipe it down nice and hard with a cloth most of it comes off there are some tiny tiny marks on it still though.
No production knife is worth $400. I mean come on its a cut out blank machine grinded then scales machine cut and screwed on. That's not rocket science.
American knives are just ridiculous. I don't get it.
@@richardhenry1969 yea try seeing how much actual.work goes into even production knives and heat treat amd scheduling and coolest and tooling.

How come other countries can make affordable knives an even ship them to America? Yet companies nowadays are living off old standards they don't keep.
$400 and I bet it doesn't have a Rockwell inspection? They just claim it's within 3points. I'm not saying anything about Reiff that everyone else doesn't do. I just find it ridiculous.
@richardhenry1969 well people so often say It's not worth half that or shit like that and alot goes into these knives this is a knife I can use for the next 400 years and pass down to my sons is 400 bucks really not acceptable to me anyway no. I'll take it.
If more people supported American manufacturing, the prices would ultimately go down. Until then, anyone can learn to budget or develop a new skill and make more money!
@@Minuteman777 I've heard said years ago. Then Clinton passed NAFTA moving manufacturing outside of America. Most companies moved not because lack of buyers but government regulations and taxes. Plus cheaper labor.

I would love to get one of those as soon as I sick my family lawyer and MAFIA on Guy @ Survive/knives for trying to steal my money and rip off over 3000 other honest knife people. Maybe they would trade me one of those knifes for a pound of flesh with a Survive tattoo on it?😂😂😂😮facts and the truth aside, that knife is a great one and it was my main contender for the GSO knife I got ripped off on by Guy because of trusting his loyal fan base and supporters despite what was obvious. Magnacut appears to be truly legitimate in the hands of legitimate knife makers.
