Prayers to repent of common sins that can hinder God’s healing - Julie Mellor Prayer

In this clip, I lead the congregation through prayers to repent of the most common sins before I start praying for healing.
The most common hindrance to receiving healing is unforgiveness and bitterness. In the clip, I say I’ve found this to be the only non-negotiable sin with God when praying for healing. By that I mean that a person who is holding unforgiveness never seems to receive full healing or to keep their healing, but I have seen others who have not yet repented of other sins receive healing. At the end of the Lord’s Prayer it says: ‘And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins,’ Mark 11:25.
God’s levels of grace are also different when praying for a non-believer versus a long-term Christian, ‘But the one who unknowingly does things worthy of punishment will be beaten with few blows. From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and from him who has been entrusted with much, even more will be demanded,’ Luke 12:48.
