The Braided Biothane Tabs provide a unique way to train off-leash behavior and obedience, or just to have a convenient way to keep your dog close when needed. We even designed our tabs in the same various color options as our Biothane Leads, so you can mix and match for your own colorful style.
Although we do not typically braid Biothane as it may alter the structural integrity of a much longer piece of the material, we found that it provides even better handling and grip on the short tabs. These 8” tabs now have the benefits of Biothane, with the added bulk for grasping and holding. Tab work is a great practice when training your dog. Keeping a dog close with a tab is nice because you can drop it and it’s light and short so it won’t impede your dog or drag on the ground, yet it's there to grab when needed. Using a tab is great for off-leash heal work for simple correction and transitioning to full “off-leash” control. A tab is also great to have on a walk, at the park, or really in any potentially busy area.
They are available in 12 color options - from normal tactical colors to bright and brilliant, making them easy to see and grab. Regardless of your style, the Braided Biothane Tab is a great addition to anyone working with their dog.
