Roughly 17K of these 19K views are mine. I love this.
5,000 listens are mine...
I’m trying to catch up
I love jpj he was the sleeping giant of led Zeppelin, no jonesy no Zeppelin.
Check out john paul jones on youtube, house of blues. When the levee breaks!
Zeppelin would have never existed if either member was absent. 4 equal slices of the pie.
Absolutely!
Led Zeppelin was a miracle. Each member was necessary to make it work. They were simply the best. The pinnacle of Rock and Roll.
There will only be one Bonham.
No one sounds like this, and I don’t know if anyone else ever will
well his son is pretty close, it's running in the family.
couchcamper not really. You could have a recording of Jason playing a song and he wouldn’t be immediately identifiable like John is.
@@portal432 agree on that Jason sounds more modern but John’s sounds looks funk and swing.
It's insane how far of the pack Bonham is. Even when compared to great sports teams or individual athletes, it is hard to find someone so far ahead of their contemporaries in their chosen profession.
They were ... phenomenally " The Fantastic 4 " of music industry .... forever .
NQ no matter how it is played, it is worth to the ears from start to finish. NQ is epic.
Several times to listen ... i prefer more ...and more ... not enough 😊
Five people got covid and lost their taste then.JPJ and Bonzo, what a rhythm section!!!Awesome ☘
That folks is the backbone of led Zeppelin
Bonham's best work on this track IMHO. His hi-hat is awesome!
Totally agreed JPJ is totally the back bone love Zeppelin
Man, that's quite an intense jam. I hope I don't ran out of licks!
Led zeppelin was a supergroup, all four bandmates were into ten positions like their instrument all time!
Always liked Jonesy. He has incredible soul.
Bonzo is so funky ....
whoever thumbs downed this is lame
Argonautica8 the timing is way funky
@@glenndodds4951 This isn't the studio version. It's a live version and it was way funky when they played it
Creeps ???? 😊😊😊
Damn! This sounds absolutely beautiful!!
BLESSING !.Sound Beatifuĺ!
This is Led Zeppelin’s Christmas jam
Ok let me make this clear for you folks. This song is in D minor, the studio version and live. The reason it SOUNDS like it's not in D minor on the studio recording is because of tape manipulation. End of story.
Hampton Timm long established but thanks
Hampton Timm Anyone who watch the original movie would notice that
The groove is two chords - Dm and Em.
Is it not d dorian?
@tatsu moku Yes they use the Dorian and Aeolian modes but the song itself is Dm
Bonzo n Jonesy. Brothers in arms
THE BACKBONE MR.JOHN

Search "Led Zeppelin No Quarter live 1973 & piano JPJ 1975" im pretty sure this is a mesh... the version is from the song remains the same movie so 75... the video shows the whole JPJ piano solo till they built it into the climax youre listening to in this video THEN ends with a mind blowing guitar solo (not featured in this video) which page shreds.. well worth the 16 minute watch
Thank me later....
