i have to say i like the minirig for the lowest levles- you can boost the bass and it just sounds more amazing than the bose at about half volume and above i prefer the bose- it is not compressing that much:)
I don’t have the soundlink flex, but I have the soundlink mini (original version), as well a the MINIRIG 3. I’ve had many good times with the Bose and can enjoy it a lot so long as it’s the speaker I start listening on first for the night. No matter what though, every single time I turn on my MINIRIG 3 after listening to the Bose, or try to do a side by side comparison, there is just no competition whatsoever. The Bose is always turned off.
I know this comment is rather old, but I learned I could replace the battery myself on my old soundlink mini, and it sounds much better now, and pretty much the same as the MINIRIG, even though I was always tested with power connected. Turns out bose is good after all, and I just needed to replace the battery.
WHICH ONE SOUNDS BETTER??
