Deffo one of the best musicals I've ever seen, I miss it everyday and listen to the soundtrack everyday! Extremly funny, catchy songs and perfext actors, met a few of them at stage door and they were the loveliest people ever. Traveled all the way from Germany to see it a few years ago and it was worth every single penny! Please bring it back x

I googled musicals that came out this year and it struck me dead that this was on the list. If it's as good as they say it should come to the Great White Way but then again i don't know if everything will transfer to the American Audience.
I saw it and it was AMAZING! However, I think it is more suitable for British audiences and couldn't be adpated for American audiences at all. They said when it closed that they were planning a UK tour and were hoping to also start an International tour.
Why not? The movie is really popular in America. Is the musical adaptation very different from the movie?

RiderBC Abbotsford Oh nice of you to start name calling? Though isn't that a pretty big word for you, I mean in comparison to such a shallow reply. Did our Guru's teach you that as well, as in to name call a fellow brother? Before you answer that let me answer that for you, no they did not. Instead refer to SGGS's ang 140 and 1031 actually just refer to the 5th word in Mool Mantar , that's what our Guru's taught us.
In addition to that our Guru's taught us to keep unshorn hair I think? And to be in constant state of praise in his name? To help the helpless? To donate 1/10 of your earnings? To do your 5 bania everyday? I don't know about you but I don't yet, therefore there much better things for you to do then to do 'vichar' (teaching) here on alcoholism here.
Secondly this is a play, an reenactment of real life scenarios. Tell me I'm sure you know of people's home where our Guru Sahibs potraits are hung, but they still drink in front of it! Why not go knocking on their doors and doing vichar there instead of commenting here? Why scared you'll get much worse then what I'm giving you now?
And anyways did you know Guru's were against idolatry of whatever kind, so isn't idolizing a portrait of them against their teachings as well? So we shouldn't feel so hurt about it anyways? I mean tell me you know there is a rule against having potraits of Guru's in Darbar Sahibs if you don't, you do now and there is a good reason behind it as well. Go and find out yourself why is it so?
Remember 'Maan Niva Maat Uchi', stop being what you call me and increase your knowledge and go and make a proper change with that instead of wasting your time hear pandering on a play, which itself is not a representation of what's happening in our community. The social unfairness between genders and what not. So Keep Calm and Move On.
