I don't know if it's a good thing or bad thing I found your channel. So many great models and tutorials to choose from I may never get anything else done. Thanks for posting these!!
Lovely model. I enjoyed folding it with you. I have folded a fair number of tessellations and always love the magic that occurs once you make the collapse. I am also a flower nut so combining some elements of tessellations and then flower origami, is perfect as far as I am concerned. I used Harmony paper and frankly, everything looks better in Harmony paper! The variegations in the colors always are a surprise when you collapse and see what is actually showing. Thank you so much for the lovely folds. Deborah S.
This origami is amazing. I discovered that you can make these flowers with almost any number of petals that are a multiple of 4 just by multiplying the folds of this origami. Even with 60 or 124 petals, but you need to have very large and thin paper.
That is a very clever little shortcut. I have watched more hours of origami tutorial content than anyone I know, and I had never seen anyone show this folding technique until this video. You should do a separate video showing it, but slower than it was done for this tutorial. I thought it was a magic trick, lol. Cheers!
Very cool, kind of complicated about halfway thru. I worked from the back of the paper where the square base is to try to make each corner and side have the same folds. it was difficult to tell which diamond shape fold was "valley" and which was "mountain." Maybe thicker paper would make it easier also.

Thank you for using paper with double-colored paper.😃
Thank you for sharing. Very good video. I made a pretty purple Hydrangea and I'll be folding more.
I'm loving this art...
What it's a desingner?
It is a twist from Shuzo Fujimot's Hydrangea tessellation.
Is an 8 petal variation possible?
Maybe not from hydrangea tessellation
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏
i am lavish from India😂
you should have told us to use thicker paper at start. waste of time 👎
standard origami paper weights around 60gsm. you don't need thicker paper for this model.
Muchas gracias, que belleza. Éxito en los próximos videos. Felicitaciones. ❤
