    Dude, that invert method blew my mind. I was just having problems with a model where I'm sure that would of been the method to use

    Will try inset method, have been semi-happy using crease values of .4 - .6 but feel like my reliance will bite me one day

    From where you got such high detailed textures for your models???
    Do you made them by yourself in substance painter???

      I downloaded leather from free websites like ambientcg, and I baked normal maps for the dotted leather texture in Blender.

    you are good but you may need to slow down and explain more slowly cuz you just explained many cases together and I believe you are talking to non beginners , but I like your way of solving issues
