I watched that day when the tree broke, fell over, and they lost their home. I am so happy to have watched how the family regrouped and made a beautiful life despite that tragedy. I loved that first day watching them splash in the creek and play in the grass. They might not have ever learned to experience that sort of fun had their home not been destroyed. I love the camera views that show them soaring in the sky now which means that they are growing up quickly!
Once the eaglets have fledged (usually around 12 to 14 weeks old), they may leave, but they may stay longer to learn from their parents. So these two eaglets could leave any time in the next month or two 💌🦅🦅
