I wore the old Chanel blush in Bronze Rose for my wedding 30 years ago. It was gorgeous. I have dry skin. I like luminous blushes, like hourglass, which I have. I need to try the RMS and Haus Lab blushes.

Thoroughly enjoyable video, thanks. I prefer very clear pink/rose blushes because anything peachy tends to go orange on me. My overall favorites are the Sisley, Suqqu and a few of the Chantecaille. Cle de Peau cream blushes in Fig and Cranberry work, too, as do a couple of the powder blushes. Sadly, I swore off Chanel blush years ago because they all went hardpan very quickly, which put put me off. Thanks again.

I think this video is helpful for anyone who misses out on getting the new Chanel Fantaisie blush (it sold out here in Canada within 3 days). BTW, I love the Valentino blush formula (I have the shades you featured) because the finish is subtly luminous and the wear-time is 8+ hours. (Sorry to off topic but) I love the Guerlain eyeshadow on you - I was not going to get it but the lavender shade is so lovely on you that I am now going to pick it up. Thank you for this fantastic video - it must have taken hours to prepare and record.

Remember the Chanel "Rose Dust" blush from YEARS ago, I still have it and use it from time to time, and I love "rose Ecrin" and "Rose Bronze" which I think may be available now in the new formulation, they all had this intense rose scent, not anymore 😢
I enjoyed this. My go to has been the old Chanel Rose Initial blush - discontinued now - and I got one in the after market. But this will help me find new options. One footnote for those who can’t get or don’t want to pay $80 for the new Chanel illuminating blush, the Haus blush called Rose Quartz is a decent dup per Angela van Rose at a better price point.

My skin tone is in the very fair cool to neutral (you and and a couple other people are shade twins for me) so these are very helpful. I don't tend to gravitate to brown or terracotta clay rose shades, but the Dusty Rose and Mocha (and the Gucci) kind of reminded me of Charlotte Tilbury's First Love, which was described as a peach flush or something, which was straight up brown on me and is still my best bronzer shade years later. This was when she first released online and you had to pick a "look" and I think Pillowtalk was just a lipliner shade and not the whole brand! I think it came with the Rock Chick look or something, but mentioning using blush as bronzer reminded me of that! You look fab today and congrats on your new CC earrings...they are gorgeous! I have wanted to get the 30 Montaigne by Dior since forever, and now I don't know if I should wait for the new formula or buy the old one, which I know.
Jen, I did leave a comment but it's disappeared, so I'll try again. The initial blushes that you showed appeared to lean more of a beige on my telly, not rose. Lethal Cosmetics released some Glow Blushes last year in Blossom and Ornamental that look just like the shades you're after. One is a deeper colour than the other. You can check their website or that of Camera Ready in the US. I also thought of Burberry's Earthy Blush in No.7 which looks quite a beige, earth coloured tone.🇦🇺💖🕊🐇💐🐣

this was awesome! dusty rose/nude blushes have always been my favorite. i immediately knew i liked the jones color but this helped confirm it even more. and despite everyone loving gucci’s rosy beige, every time i swatched in store i was unimpressed by the formula so held off. to me it’s not silky which may be why it doesn’t apply well for you? either way zero fomo now 😂

I am considering buying the new Bobbi Brown Brightening Blush in the shade Blushed Bronze that I have seen described as a soft rose with bronze shimmer. There aren't too many reviews on it but I think it has that perfect nude-rose tone with a hint of luminescence! Does anyone own it?
