I know according to all the "Pros" this isn't the correct hold, but if dealt 2 pair and one pair is a money pair, AKQJ, and the other is not, I hold only the money pair. It may have cost me a full house a few times, but it also got me 4 OAK's several times. I'd say more than the full houses I would have gotten. I like what you are doing, BTW. Glad you're back.
Interesting take on game comparisons, Andrew. Plus, it gives the players some insights concerning volatility and how it may relate to determining the bankroll size needed according to which game the player chooses. I like it. Well done!🙌🏻🙌🏻🌎
It’s a fun idea you have Andrew. However I think you’ll have to do almost an hour video for single line if you want to compare equal number of hands played (factoring out variance). I’m aware in triple play, hands 2 and 3 is based on hand 1, so I’m sure someone can do the maths for equal comparison when comparing relative number of hands played. Thanks for the video! …or play 1/3 the hands dealt for single line so about 7 minutes? 🤷🏻 idk. For comparison purposes, seems to make sense.
Enjoy your videos. Fun to watch others bet above what I’m comfortable betting at. Is tough when full houses are not connecting or a couple hands back to back no partial bet back.
Thank you for your video!! When I play multi hand I rind that five play retuns better for some reason, but who knows? It's like a sweet spot. But on that stingy machine you'd have been broke fast. Good luck!!!
I love watching you play. However, according to the Casino gaming commission, there is no skill to video poker. That's what they told me when I reported the casino I play at. I play progressive Triple Play joker poker. The links were off, and the odds changed so much you can't win anything. Anyway, they told me it's not a game of skill, which I know is BS.
I don't care what anyone says the volatility is the same no mater what video poker game i play. The only difference is getting payed a win for 2 pair or in the case of deuces wild actually getting paid for 2 pair and jacks or better. I've hit 4 aces on triple double and hit 4 aces on bonus poker and my 1 and only royal flush came on double double bonus. Ironically the game that seems to never hit the big hands is jacks or better.
Andrew, this is a very bad idea. You want to draw comparisons with different games, you need to show results over a years worth of play for both games. In the short term, anything can happen.
I agree with casinocrash you dropped 2 suited high card to play to play the offsuited card because you believe that it’s the right play totally off my friend ! Take a good look at the video I’m amazed all the wrong play just because they say it’s the right play! I just don’t get it!!!
Andrew I enjoy your videos very much. However, your obsession with playing by the “book”, I think is not the best idea. I’ve been playing video poker for many many years sometimes daily. In my experience I’ve found that playing sometimes by instinct is way better. For instance I played a game called pick a pair and double double bonus yesterday. I stayed on the machine and after about 4 hours I was up over 4 thousand dollars. I’m not saying you method is wrong but believe me I’ve got more just by instinct than by making sure my play is perfect. My husband plays with me and believe me he makes so many mistakes but we can most often pull out something. Thank you for all your content though. I love high limit video poker.
Wow. “Your insistence on playing by the book” isn’t a good idea? Please keep going to casinos and playing like trash so you keep them happy with having otherwise player friendly machines payout low. Players like Andrew need players like you. So thank you, sincerely.
@@indifferentadvocate1737 yeah ok! I’m merely stating that playing by the book like in a card game is not always the best when playing video poker on a computerized machine. The computer gives out patterns, and often it’s better to see the pattern and go that direction. For instance on double double bonus flushes are hard to come by. So are full houses. Why? It’s the way the game is set up. If you’ll notice he had a very hard time getting full houses on that game as an example. Every game in the casino is different. All of them have different strategies. That’s all I’m trying to say here.

Glad you’re posting more regularly
Thanks, me too
This machine is playing like my local casino Graton!Good Luck!
Graton 🗑
@@rrCHRISxxyes horrible video poker plus Indian casinos don’t pay!
Even when you play by the book, there is still variance and luck to contend with.
Obviously.
I enjoyed watching your play. When I visit Vegas, the Triple Play machines are what I go for. Thanks!
Thank you for educating us!
Showing the errors is super helpful. Thank you! I was missing that qj98 hold but now will plug that error in my ddb game.
Andrew thanks for doing this challenge. I really want to see how this plays out.
It's really nice to see your videos again. I love how you play.
Two Slotmassacre videos in one day 🙌 🎉🎉🎉

At Durango, I've had the best luck on the Ultimate X machines, the single hand has been really tough there.
Enjoy your videos. Fun to watch others bet above what I’m comfortable betting at. Is tough when full houses are not connecting or a couple hands back to back no partial bet back.
KICK ASS SEA BASS
IS THE V. P. GOD BACK ?
Great idea the triple play versus the single line...Good luck :)
Durango is brand new casino - programmed to take money!🤑🤑🤑
Unfortunately in ddb you always throw away the full house draw for the pair of aces and it seems like you always miss one😂
Hi Andrew nice to see your videos again.

I'm assuming this is what you do for a living? How did you get started?
Longer videos are the best. I watch while im playing vp and its the best. Is this machine in the hi limit room or on the floor at Durango?
Thank you Andrew
18:25 I wonder if the two clubs are the penalty cards for holding the Ace?
What’s a pentldy card?
Wow, that was so very rough. Hopefully you find a machine that won't stop winning.
Rampart to Durango Station ?
Crazy content I rather play single line 😅
Good educational video! Sorry that machine was so mean. Next time🤞
Ok to all my video poker players....does higher denom play mean better payout? Meaning winning hands more often due to higher denom?
It all depends on the pay table.
Nope wishful thinking tho.
Probability is Probability...higher payouts and higher losses...RNGs are the same.

Good game
you showed an error but when i looked at hand they were mostly different cards, where was the error i did not see one 18:21 thru 18:29
Ohio loves ya!!❤😘😜
Bad RNG!😢

You don’t care whatever anybody says the numbers are wrong? Congrats on being the typical gambler.
Tough. I love playing triple play 1 dollar or 2 denom
Game of luck, not skill. Play basic strategy and pray.

If you look back on this video you will see a lot of fives and eights which means the machine is cold
Lmfao. Yes, but you didn’t see the rain dance Andrew was doing which made the cards better. 🤦♂️🤦♂️😂🤦♂️🤦♂️
a couple of 2,3 or 4 with A....I would hold
But that's not what is statistically accurate.
I’ll never understand why people click on the comment button, type out a sentence, only to say “hi, I play wrong.”
Okay. Thanks?
no just wondering why you would not play those cards....I'm learning....@@indifferentadvocate1737
