Your guy's reaction was hilarious. I literally LOLed. Yes watch All of the sequels. They're not Oscar worthy, but definitely fun to watch. This movie scared me so bad I was afraid to go into the shower 😂😂😂
Yes!!! Hahaha. Ain’t no pleasure like a guilty pleasure! That was the show that taught me how different a series can be when you watch it in real time week-to-week vs bingeing. I watched that one the whole way through both ways, and it was a very different experience.
Happy Friday the 13th to you and Marc! 👻 Great reaction you two! 😊 This is a great movie to watch on this Friday the 13th and Halloween season. Such a good thriller film. Yes!!! It seemed innocent enough right after we finished watching, but it’s a week later now and I’m still playing out scenarios here and there. “Don’t turn at this light. Wait.” lol
I love Final Destination. Even Final Destination 2. The Log Truck scared me even here in Tennessee. We always go on the different lane when we see a truck like that. Love Ali Larter she is so beautiful.
Hey hey! Yes!! So I don’t know which Final Destination that is, but God yes. And even after this movie, later that night I was walking my dog, and I was like, “Ok there’s a puddle, the dog could take off, pull me, I slip in the puddle, hit my head on a fire hydrant…” Damn you Final Destination!
@@DavidvsFilm I love to say which movie The Log Truck will be. But its best to see the reaction to that one. Check out the new version of The Fall of the House of Usher. I been looking forward to this one based on Edgar Allan Poe work. Plus I enjoy Mike Flanagan stuff.

"Who the hell are you?" That's the Candyman, lol. The Final Destinations goes up and down as far as quality goes. Usually, I enjoy the ones where Death doesn't appear to have an active role in the accident when they appear more organic.
Happy Vorhees Day! Great reaction you two. Loving the new atmosphere and I hope you continue with the franchise. Not every entry or death is a win but what I love about this and the SAW franchise is the continuity. I have always liked this film, I think it would have been great as a stand alone film but as we know when Hollywood sees $$ they want sequels. The film you were referencing is in fact FD 2 with the log truck and is a decent sequel. A fun piece of trivia, this film may have been based off of or inspired by another film called SOLE SURVIVOR where the crash survivor is haunted by those who died on the flight in an attempt to take her too. I had also heard this was supposed to be an X-FILES episode before it became a fully drawn out film which again really cool for a horror/sci-fi nerd like myself who grew up watching those shows and films. Really glad you enjoyed this one and hope you enjoy the rest!
Thank you- Excellent information as always my friend!! I’m glad to hear you compare this series to Saw because even though I haven’t seen those movies (yet), I’ve heard a lot of people, even non-horror fans, appreciate that series for the continuity you mentioned.
That's my motto: ''the smallest decisions can make the biggest changes in life''. Gotta watch that movie ''Sliding Doors'' (I know the title and movie poster, never actually knew what's it about), thanks for the recommendation, David.
Totally!! Thank you :) Yes, so without giving too much away, you basically see the two paths a woman’s life takes: one if she caught the train she almost missed, and the other if she misses it.
So, I think the movie's producer(?) said the original ending for the movie had the main character (Alex) dying. Clear and him were supposed to have a scene where they slept together, earlier in the movie, and the epilogue was going to show she had a kid from that. After some feedback (from test audiences or studios IDK), they changed the ending and shot the Paris epilogue stuff; that's why Ali Larter has blonde hair in the Paris stuff~~~^.^
Ahhhh the alternate story! Thank you! I love those. And Yeah about the hair, I ended up editing out, but we both commented that it looked like they all got stylists before they went to Paris haha.

Ok the Final Destination franchise is one of my guilty pleasures. I would love to see you guys watch them all. The last movie also has one of THE best twists 😉 Loved watching you two react to this one! So fun!
One of the writers was Glen Morgan - Kristen Cloake who played Val Lewton his wife. Glen directed the first remake of Black Christmas (Kristen also plays a former sorority sister in the remake. The name Val Lewton is the name of a Russian movie director who directed the the movie Cat People from 1946! Great review!

@@DavidvsFilm yes! Be sure to watch the original Black Christmas. It’s more dramatic and eerie but it was the precursor to the original Halloween. Actually, John Carpenter was talking with Bob Clark (director of the original Black Christmas) and asked him “if you made a sequel to the Black Christmas, what would it be about?” And Bob told him “I’d make it about this killer escaping the asylum and returning home on Halloween.” Sound familiar?
Loved your reaction... FD2 opening sequence of events traumatised my age group! we could never not look at the lorry with logs and loose debris the same again without thinking of that movie XD

hey David I've another film recommendation for you and it's a special rare treasure. this film inspired a music video, and a videogame franchise that had a very long following. it stars the actor who played dr. loomis in the halloween movies, and jenniffer connely who later starred in labriynth with david bowie . The film is called " Phenomena" is also has another alias name but this is the film that gave birth to the video game Clock Tower i strongly recommend this and if you can find it. i suggest the version with the solid black cover that has two large scary hands reaching out at the top the logo in the center and a very fairy tale looking illustration of jennifer surrounded by flowers with an insect in her hand. @@DavidvsFilm Here's something else you may enjoy that just occurred to me: All those electrical events in the film are analogous to water. Electricity is commonly analogized to water, e.g., electrical current etc. So, electricity = water = The Grim Reaper. It's great to find these sorts of meanings in a film that's only meant to be a good, albeit somewhat gruesome, entertainment, which it is.
