Would put the January 2024 healthy Knicks against any team. Bring it all back if possible, grab best possible stretch big in draft and see what we have. Would wait to Feb 2025 trade period to make any adjustments.
A top tier 3 and D SG that has ability to run offense the lil time JB is out beyond solidifies roster n depth chart (if OG n Isaiah resign)
It’d be nice if we could run it back for the most part except trade for dejounte Murray. He can run point very well also
I'm only cool with Dejounte off the bench and I'm not spending that much on a bench piece. Dejounte doesn't fit our starting 5
Knicks need to trade for dejounte Murray if they decide a trade. Robinson, Randle, Murray and Brunson and such. Not saying anyone I did not mention should be trade option. But that gives them 3 scorers. And a good perimeter defender at the guard spot. Knicks got the picks to do so and Murray is a top level player. That's the missing player.
Cam Reddish, Obi Toppin, Evan Fournier. Kept Grimes instead of packaging him for Donovan Mitchell. Leon hasn’t been perfect, but better than the past executives.
Cam Reddish led to Josh Hart, which is why I left him off the list. You're right about Forunier, it made sense at the time but was a bad move, similarly to Obi. Grimes wasnt the end all be all of that trade, it was Grimes, RJ, Mitch, and like 5 firsts
Bog must be traded or let go, but he won’t get close to his contract if he is let go n signs so idk why teams would jump at trading for him

There is no superstar to be traded for. The young stars are not leaving there current teams and the older stars are TOO old and they are going to cost way too much in draft capital.
I don't buy it. This is probably a show for Dolan. Dolan says he wants a star, so Knicks FO leaks stories to insiders about intentions to make a blockbuster deal.
The Knicks have a ton of draft capital that they wanna spend, they're not acquiring that for Jimmy D
Nah, I think Dolan is past having that mindset. He trusts the front office and the team already has their star that they can market.

Also Anthony Edwards went first that year, and the Knicks picked Obi when guys like Haliburton, Maxey, and Devin Vassell were all still available. @@knicksdigest they wanted quick. obi was ncaa player of the year also. they would've been stupid to choose otherwise . just because he's restricted don't mean he cant go for 25 every night. he won't resign now that siakim starting .new team for obi soon. he is young and has not shown 35 min too many times , but he puts up numbers when he gets substantial min.
