Interesting perspective: My father was born in 1923 and became a preacher / minister. His first congregation was in Alta Dena CA, a small congregation of black folk, around 40 souls. My dad, mom and sister (I was prenatal at the time!) were the only white folk. Anyway, there was a elderly lady in the congregation who was in her nineties. My dad asked her one day, "What's the earliest thing you can remember?" She said, well suh, when I was around 7 years old, my momma woke me up early in the morning and brought me outside. She said, 'She that train goin' 'cross the field there? That's president Lincoln's funeral train! I want you to always remember this moment!" So I, at the age of 72, I am the son of a man who knew a woman who actually saw President Lincoln's funeral train! Ain't that sumpthin?! Kinda brings the past right up to the present, don't it?!

Interesting to see. I figured cabooses were long gone by 1992.
This RR does ALOT of backward shove moves, that's why there is a caboose.
