Ripped all my CDs from when I worked at a music store in the 90’s, Haha. I’ve got the F20 and again, never really noticed that…because again I only play on shuffle (I’m a creature of habit). I’ve been using a P5S daily in my car for about a month and I adore it. Sound output is limited by Android, but I don’t have to really crank the volume to get it going. Sounds best through the aux connection, but I’ve yet to drop a signal with Bluetooth. I have the Mechen and a touch screen player from AGPTek in my to-review pile. I will check those functions when I make those videos. For a good search function, you might be stuck with an Android device. The P5S is really pretty great, but it goes out of stock fairly often.
@@RynoDBones thanks for the reply. Playing all songs by artist and having a search feature are deal breakers for me if an mp3 player doesn't do it. (Guess I'm spoiled by Sony x_x) Here's a video of what I mean by searching for letter from my sony walkman and playing all songs by artist.

No lagging issues with it either, but like I said, even connected with an Aux port to my car the sound just isn't up to par and I have to turn everything up to max. It's an older player, just wish the sound was better then I wouldn't be looking to upgrade. Sony Walkman doesn't seem to be producing more in the US (not for a reasonable price anyway). I may end up importing a higher sony model from Japan and just changing the language on it.
Was good until I saw it had all those features.. personally just want a music player. That's it . I got my phone for the rest of that stuff.
They love to bundle in some useless stuff with these. I was just sent a Mechen M30 which might be more appropriate for just playing all sorts of music. It also reminds me of the F20, but at a much nicer price. I’m in the getting to know the player stage right now, but hope to have the video out next week. I will also be making a review for the F20, but I have the model from before the company changed their name. It is an awesome music player with an exceptionally good DAC for the price. So far the Mechen is a very close competitor. If you want something budget, though, without all the bells and whistles…the SanDisk Clip is pretty great. I get not wanting all that, but also at the budget price is something called the BERENNIS D08 which is a modernized clone of the Meizu M6 which was an awesome player.
no FLAC? WTF?
Rico ?
Audio is very lacking in bass. Sound is not good.
worst mp3 player i have ever owned but then again its Chinese. it doesn't recognize the SD card and when i managed to put music in its own memory they are not organized in order. it came with firmware 1.2 so i downgraded to 1.1 to see if it works better, it doesn't. my phone as a mp3 player sounds louder and way more better than this so I'm honestly not understanding. I'm sending this crap back to amazon.
The same thing happened to me, it sounds horrible, it distorts the bass even if you hear it low. Very nice player on the outside, but it sounds awful. I do not recommend it. I tried it with several headphones, Jbl, Jlabs, xiaomi, and with all of them it sounds HORRIBLE. My xiaomi cell phone is better than this device that sounds worse than those old mini mp3 players for US$ 4}
@@JosePedro-fj1vh Damn, that's a shame because I was considering getting this one, but I love bass. Honestly just about every MP3 player I've checked seems to have reviews complaining about the sound quality of the bass.
It sounds like you've owned quite a few MP3 players in the past; Do you have any you'd recommend for less than $200?
Thanks in advance!
Es Hi Res???
Nope!
The Phinistec Z6 sounds horrible, it distorts the bass even if you hear it low. Very nice player on the outside, but it sounds awful. I do not recommend it. Total junk
Downvoted because you didn't even talk about playlists or mp3 organization at all
Haha, you liked your own comment.
