- The first evil final boss in the series is still memorable thanks to its cool concept design and of course his battle theme. I decided not include his Power Orb battle theme and to focus on the Wizard form instead. This one took longer than expected due to being busy with work. Enjoy!

Youd think the villains would learn to not summon Galacta Knight after the first four or five planetary explosions.
Ah yes, the first truly evil kirby villain... who consequently has very little lore or characterization which is a shame given his cool design. It was nice to see him return for Super Kirby Clash. Hopefully one day we'll see him return in a mainline title.
Same here; and if that happens, maybe that mainline title will be enough to at least reboot Kirby Right Back at Ya, but that's just what I wish could happen. Ah, well, a Kirby fan can dream.

The way the beginning of the music syncs up with the cutscene of Kirby crash landing is one of the most memorable moments in gaming and having something like that on an NES game is still incredibly impressive.

Ah, Nightmare Wizard... one of the coolest looking characters in the Kirby series! Well, atleast design-wise. Shame we don't know that much about him lore-wise, but considering that he was the first cosmic entity Kirby had ever vanquished, his importance to the series cannot be understated.
Also, the Star Allies remix of his theme is one bop and a half. You can't change my mind.

I just finished Kirby's Adventure for the first time yesterday, and I'm completing the Extra Game now.
Man, this theme is awesome. That introductory sequence to the fight was ultra epic, and this theme just complemented the fight perfectly.
I understand now why some people like the ending of this game so much.

Nightmare Wizard is one of the best Kirby villains in my opinion he should reappear in future titles.
I'd like to see him more too. How come a villain called NIGHTMARE isn't more relevant in a universe that's called DREAMland?! x)

Nightmare is such an interesting and mysterious villain. We know so little about him. Same goes for the Dark Matter race in Kirby. There's very little information on both, and I actually love that.
He keeps himself a mystery is a very cool concept to me!
But what we know for now is that he can devour dreams from those who sleep
Spectacle Space remains my favorite version of it! It's just so strange and energetic!, Nightmare's Battle gets pretty close too though, with that Robobot flavor
I think a lot of remixes fail to capture just the complexities and rhythms that made the original theme great.
Imo, the Kirby Clash remixes were the best. They sounded far more threatening. The NES version is great but it always sounded a bit too… Upbeat.

_Kirby’s Adventure_ is always gonna hold a special place in my heart as the first _Kirby_ game I ever played (and first video game I ever finished), and so will Nightmare as my first eldritch twist villain. Seriously, that reveal that Dedede was actually trying to keep a far greater evil from terrorizing Dream Land and that that evil was an actual nightmare blew my six-year-old mind. I was always surprised he didn’t show up more in the games (especially given his prominence in the anime), but dang was it nice to see him again in _Mass Attack’s_ Strato Patrol subgame, and even more so to see him in another major antagonist role in _Super Kirby Clash._ Guy deserves it, I say.
It was far from my first (I was an N64 kid), but I think Adventure still holds up really well, nowadays, I even think it does some things better than its GBA remake. Plus, Nightmare's design is too funny to be so underutilised x)

Nightmare is my favorite video game final boss / antagonist of all, I want to mention. But the Kirby anime had a lot of influence on me regarding that, it was so great!

A thing that I noticed is that kirby is so very small in that game compared to every boss
While i really like the theme, especially the star allies interpretation of it, im not the only one who thinks its a little dissapointing that all of the phase 0 dream friends got it? Like what if Dedede got it, Meta Knight got Galacta Knight's theme, and then BWD got.... The big boss theme from Super Star Ultra? Or even the Arena theme from that game?
BWD should've gotten something from Battle Royale, ik people don't like that game but its the BWD game

I know right, I even once heard the idea that he was the ruler of Another Dimension because there many Kirby characters had their nightmares turned real in the form of parallel bosses

Well, we know that Nightmare is born from, well, nightmares and bad thoughts. Unlike the majority of the final bosses from the Kirby franchise Nightmare isn't an alien threat, he's more likely a real cosmic entity capable of influencing people's minds.
My head cannon is that nightmare literally is all the nightmares of dreamland/pop star combined.
That can explain parallel nightmare being nightmares from another dimension

A theory I think is pretty cool is that Nightmare is literally that, a nightmare. The star rod is heavily implied to be a creation of the Ancients that bring dreams to reality. Like every other piece of technology created by the ancients (Lor, Nova) it can't differentiate good from evil, they're just neutral and bend to the will of it's user. That's said, the star rod brought a bad dream, a Nightmare to reality.

Back when i thought he's the most formidable of all Kirby's enemies (since he appeared in the final episode of the Anime)
Then things like Magolor and Void Termina came to an existence
The duality of Nightmare:
*Anime:* Cosmic threat commanding an intergalactic army. Goes out like a loser.
*Games:* Just some fuckin' guy who poisoned the magical-dream-fountain water supply, I guess. One of the coolest boss fights ever put on an NES.
