The sad part about the race aspect is that there is SO MANY secrets in these maps and there is rarely any reason to hunt them out unless you're looking for certain thing.
A little bit of comfy custom key binding you can do that i use is this: Do you have a side button on your mouse, the one that goes Back Page on the web browsers? Assign the CROUCH TOGGLE to that button. You will be able to Bullet Jump with a simple 'Right Thumb' then 'Left Thumb' combo. ENJOY!

I've done both and it's actually not bad however it's certainly way better on mouse and keyboard
