I built the best Zombie Base in Minecraft
#CallMeKevin #Funny #Minecraft
Kevin you need trap doors on both sides of the moat. They picture the two trapdoors as blocks to cross over, so they'll just walk straight off instead of shimmying on the side. That's why your bridge trap doors work so well and they just walk straight off into the lava without needing to be pushed
@@kingmankingboy8743 you can just go ahead and jump in the lava moat
Good tip!
@@vlaicud ayo?
I'm going to hijack this popular comment to tell Kevin to check mine lmao, the way his lava pit is set up isn't really compatible with a minecart line, so in my comment I detailed a possible way it could work
DONT TELL HIM THAT! Kevin is a strategic genius, he has his reasons for doing what he does! Don't question him!
Genuinely enjoying Kevin accidentally discovering vanity blocks and prettying things up during a blood moon.
“I’m basically trapped inside my house”. I can relate to this, except that I’ve trapped myself in here by choice, not because there’s a zombie-horde having garden party in my backyard

Technically zombies actually come from Greek mythology originally.
But there are tories and flat-earthers out there. Better off indoors.

Superb scavenger (not a thief mind you, they get it coming for them anyway)
Professional interior and exterior designer
And also has a natural talent for resource management, which he portraits by building efficently with what nature gives him

If you want to collect the rotten flesh, you can switch out the lava in the moat to magma blocks, so the items won't be destroyed when the zombies die. That will also make it safer for you if you were to fall in, since you could crouch to not take damage. Then, the hopper minecart going under the magma blocks could go collect it, like you were thinking when you saw it.
I'm loving this map, keep it up!
Or campfires, campfires work with normal hoppers

I love how, every once in a while throughout this series, Kevin tries to break the electric fences with his stone pickaxe. Just to see if the rules have magically changed since the last time he tried. 🥰😂

He’s like: mmmmaaaaaybe they’ve updated- nope, still can’t break it, dang it :(

you can probably remove the electric fences with a wrench by shift clicking on it. It is just a common thing for a lot of industry mods to have really sturdy blocks that can only be removed with specific equipment.
Also the zombies will walk in on their own more if you put a trapdoor on both sides of the pit.
... There is also the thing where if you break the bottom block of a gravel or sand pile and place a torch there before the sand or gravel finishes falling the entire stack of sand or gravel will get destroyed as fast as it can fall
The fact kev caught the fact zombies can walk around the trap door bridge gives me hope he can solve the issues within the world.
A comment told him
@@infsm27 this comment is talking about how kevin realized the zombies could shimmy along the outside of the fence and adjusted the bridge accordingly before disaster struck, thats why he said he had a premonition
@Amina & Hiba Show Cállate
Kev for world leader
@@Screact Can't leave it worse than it currently is
Kev, the trapdoors become much more effective if you put a trapdoor on both sides of the hole (meaning if you were to open them, it would make a bridge), that way the zombies will not only not be scared to step on them, but will also actively walk into the hole because they think they can just walk over :)
This zombie mod series is genuinely one of my favourites, the pure chaos and tactical genius… 🤯
omg I know, I love this series
jesus your comment is like a bot magnet, they are all here
To break the electric fences (if it's SecureCraft you're using) is a Universal Block Remover, which can be crafted in a crafting table using shears on the far left and 2 iron ingots in the slots to the right of it. They should be able to break most blocks that the mod adds.
I hope this helps, cause I remember struggling with the fences when I used SecureCraft.
So far the series has been fantastic, it's great fun to watch you suffer/succeed (whichever makes you feel better).
Kevin is an interior design genius, those paths look gorgeous and the drawbridge is an awesome idea
For anyone who doesn't know of the first conga line with multiple fatalities I think Kevin is referring to the conga line he made with random people in Phasmaphobia where most of them died.
Pretty sure it's just a joke, the absurdity arising from how typically conga lines are non- lethal.
If you're feeling particularly masochistic, might I suggest after you are done with this world, do a one chunk zombie apocalypse?
With Extreme Griefer Jesus flying around too?
I mean, he essentially is already doing that, he cant leave his base because of the constant zombies lmao.
But yea i would absolutely watch that too
"after you are done with this world" well I AM done with this world should I do the zombie chunk Challenge?
My god yes

Never thought I’d be here at 28 watching another “functioning” adult playing mine craft describe their current mood as “moist due to a nice looking farm”
I always new this is exactly where I would be
I’m 35 - trust me, laughing at CMK Minecraft videos NEVER gets old
I'm amazed that the water distortion to Kevin's voice is still a running gag
Right?
So much effort for such a small detail gotta be appreciated! ^^
Kevin is truly a sound design genius.
I love how Kevin went from "WHAT THE FECK AM I DOING" to " look at all this, so lovely" and I just personally love that
With everything going on I've been reverting back into my 14 year old self which mainly means being obsessed with minecraft and oreos. Bless you for giving us so much great minecraft stuff Kevin! Truly the perfect way to procrastinate on my actual serious adult research papers.
Giant mood. I'm in the middle of a move that's become a nightmare because of the contractors the current place hired to renovate the unit (completely trashed my room and stuff but not my roommate's, and a box of my stuff is just straight-up gone), on top of there being an odd gap between end of old lease and start of new one that leaves me with no other choice than having to crash with my family, and I swear to god my minecraft ocean monument project is the only thing keeping me functional at all. Glory to Moskstraumen
@@bengal4047 That sounds horrible!! I hope everything goes well for you, you deserve a break after that :)
I've been away from the game for so long that I had to look up that achievement. Guess that's what I'm doing tonight haha :)
It looks like the only way to break the electric fences is by crafting a "Universal Block Remover" by placing the following items in a row in the order I mention them:
Shears | IronIngot | IronIngot
After this season has been finished, the next one should be the Scape and Run: Parasites Mod. It's a lot like this one, but a lot scarier and with more variation!
I was going to suggest the same thing. +1 from me!
That would be great
Kevin sounded like he was having so much fun with this video. Such a pleasure to watch.
This series is genuinely such fun to watch! Can't wait to see more of Kevin weaponizing his military genius against zombies.
Something about Kevin walking into a house, seeing bookshelves & smacking them with an axe while exclaiming "knowledge!" just absolutely cracked me up omg
Autoplay accidentally led me to the new video and I'm so excited to watch it! Love it when Kevin continues a game past the first one or two videos
Couldn't agree more haha it's so enjoyable when he creates a SERIES, not just a VIDEO lol
I suggest putting trapdoors on both sides of the moat because it will make the zombies think there is a straight path to get to you since the trapdoors will always seem closed to the zombies.
Hope this helps you keep your title as military genius.

5:41 When the Kevin walked up to the edge of the moat
And he asked the zombies, at the edge of the moat
"Hey!" *pom pom pom* "Wanna go for a swim?"
They said "The chances are slim"
And they gargled away, gargle gargle, and they gargled away, gargle gargle, and they gargled away, to the very next NIGHT!
Great work there. Kevin truly is a military genius. For removing the electric fences I think it‘s forgiveable to use a command. If you go on top of one type „/setblock ~ ~-1 ~ air“. Hope this helps.
I've been waiting for more zombie related Minecraft content from Kevin
I hope the next one comes out soon! This series kicks ass
Hey Kevin! To break the electric fences, you need an item called the Universal Block remover. It is crafted placing shears and two iron ingots horizontally in a crafting table. When you craft the Universal Block Remover, right click the electric fence you placed down to break it (you will gain the fence back).
love that this is one of the prettiest bases that kevin has built and it's surrounded by rotting corpses. design goals
when kevin mentioned the most dangerous conga line, i genuinely thought he was going to cut to that clip from phasmophobia where they conga'd too hard and people died
i’ve been watching your old minecraft content as well as these videos and playing myself!! i really love this series.
a tip for your lava moat: if you make the fall longer (dig 10-20 blocks deeper and put the lava down there) you won’t have any fire spread! then you can also make some underground “viewing windows” :)
God the zombie scream edit never fails to make me laugh, also kevin being muffled by the water is a greta detail.
If you build a fridge from the furniture mod, in the freezer you can turn rotten flesh into flesh. Flesh can then be smelted into cooked flesh which doesn't cause the hunger effect and is more filling. Make rotten flesh into a delicacy!
This is become one of my favorite series to see on youtube in general. Kevin doing one chunk challenges with interesting twists is the content we needed but don't deserve. Kev is a military genius AND a hero.
Looks great Kevin, please keep going with this series, its hilarious to see what youre thinking off
There’s something unsettling about Kevin’s schemes actually succeeding
This series is great fun! I'd definitely love to see more.
So, Kevin, if you make the top of your entire moat a trapdoor drawbridge, it will be all instant fatalities. Also, if you place like a stack of minecarts on a rail and contain them inside a glass box, zombies will get squished to death by them and their items won't get lost. This is known as an entity cramming kill chamber.
I keep somehow forgetting about this particular minecraft series. I think I actively repress the second-hand stress as I'm watching
Same
Kevin: _builds a stout keep with servants to attend his every need_
Barristan Selmy: "A hole to die in... and men to bury me."
Thanks for always giving me a smile and a laugh, Kevin! Your videos help so much during tough times.
If you "bridge" the gap over your moat with trap doors on both sides, and flip them down, the zombies will think it's literally a path to you and fall in by themselves. Great stuff, K
Kevin: *creates a moat of lava*
Kevin: "Where is the fire coming from?"
Truly a mystery :D
I would love to see you play this mod with the irish lads. Just think, you'd be smarter than they are, and if they don't listen to your rules then they can be left to the horde!

Man this video gives me 2013 vibes...
AND I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT
I remeber when I could only play in MCPE with no mods and I loved pretending I was trying to survive a zombie apocalipse, and seeing such simplicity just brought me back memories of gameplays that I can relate to myself, instead of modern minecraft gameplays, where there is always something ridiculously massive involed, buildings, traps, redstone contraptions... But this, I really see my old me having a fun time with a simple, resource limited base, yet getting many emotions out of it.
Great video, for real, love this channel, keep on going :)
16:35 there are actually areas that do their harvests at night because it's gotten too hot to work in the fields during daytime. The more you know!
I love the two zombie modeling when Kevin is giving us a fortress tour
This is probably one of my favorite series that you've done keep it up! You're my favorite Minecraft player
You should def keep playing, Kevin! I stan focusing on your zen garden amidst a zombie apocalypse
Once you're comfortable going out during the day, you could mine for iron and make iron trap doors for the moat, which wouldn't burn
He’s getting a pretty cool castle together, would love to see this evolve into a series or something
If you get enough iron to make a cauldron, and some sand then you can make an infinite lava source. You just need to place one square of lava, then use the sand to make glass and then bottles. Collect the lava from the square with the bottles and then fill the cauldron with that. The lava will never deplete. Then when the cauldron is full you can collect another bucket of it and do this as many times as you want :)
i really like this series, the mods seem so fun and they really change how you play the game in an interesting way
Kevin: *has a lot of beautiful tomatoes*
also Kevin eating rotten flesh: "Delicious. Finally some good feckin' food."
Just wanted to say I really appreciate the zombie-themed game music that's been playing in the background of these videos so far (ie: Left 4 Dead, Death Road to Canada, etc)
I searched the comments for it. I KNEW I recognized the music. The Death Road to Canada theme song was driving me mad from semi-recognition. Thank you
This mod really lets your military genius shine.
Also if you head to the nether and grab some warped and crimson stems you can make them into fire proof wood for the trapdoors.
Wrong mc version (this is 1.12.2)
Oops. Yeah, I forgot it's not the newest version.
Kevin is a military and decorator genius
Hey, Kevin.
I think I've seen some other youtuber playing this mod. Not sure if that is indeed the same but, if it is... there shoud be a feature somewhere that makes the zombies grow more dangerous each night!
They increase their number, strenght, speed, toughness, and can even eventually acquire the abilitiy to dig, build or even TNT their way to get you!
I think it would be awesome to check that out! ^^
This was honestly very fun to watch. Thank you Kevin! I like these episodes.
Kevin will and always be a military, slaughterhouse genius
The bunger council would like to proclaim that kevin IRL during a zombie apocolypse would become that one crazy ass leader that does stupid shit but gets amazing rewards
Kevin is a multifaceted genius, we can now add interior design genius to the ever growing list.
the one UA-camr I watch at normal speed. I love your content.
Kevin is a decoration genius.
8:56 this is a rare occurrence when a natural Kevin honestly wants somebody in a video game to get out of the pool
If you ever have rails to spare, I reckon you could use them in your escape tunnel to cut down how long it is to get from one side to the other. It's also fun
Kevin should do more of this modpack
Kevin you should put trapdoors on the moat and lava pit so that zombies think its a full block and will pathfind over it. They'll avoid big drops naturally unless you do this.
The sudden music from _Deadly Premonitions_ at 12:30 really felt nicely nostalgic. :)
Oh my god thank you when I heard it I felt such intense nostalgia but couldn’t remember where it was from
Kevin is developing Active Protection Systems, just like those used on modern tanks; he is truly a military Genius
But he can't be that much of a genius if he's shouting out the names of fictitious biblical characters and hasn't removed the spam replies from bots.
@@smb-c3po tf do you mean?

This mod would be far more intense if the zombies could climb up each other or perhaps on top of slain zombies.

I think the trapdoors tricking the zombies into thinking it's a block works better when you have trapdoors on both sides of the pit
@Amina & Hiba Show Google translate says you said "this trap session is the same as cool" but I don't think Google translate is correct. Also why the link to a random inspirational quote video
I enjoy that Kevin is basically doing a more dangerous one chunk challenge with this series. The Zombies stop him from leaving his base so much he just stays put.
first kevin conquered the sims, now he conquers the zombies
I actually love this series too much 😅
When I watch Kevin jump and bonk his head on every single piece of stone on the way up his stairway, it just makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.
The genius of editing the sound of Kevin going into the water is just… wow. 2:38 I think it happens but he goes in the waterfall and his voice is muffled. Great idea and great job!
Day 267 of asking Kevin to play Disney Princess: Enchanted Journey
Yess, he needs to!
Day 1 of me agreeing with you
My dude you are *determined* to have kevin play this game
You are still doing this ? I respect it and totally agree
All these responses look pretty botty
Hey Kevin if you use your planning to use the hopper mine cart under the lava you should double check that it works and doesn't just burn the items. A good alternative is magma blocks instaed of the lava as you can just run the mine cart underneath them and it pick up anything on top. Magma blocks can be found in the ocean deep down or in the neather.
15:34 He didn't do the thing ! My immersion is ruined
Kevin: I wonder how long it'll take for disaster...
