This is my first “serious” video, and I’ve put multiple weeks of effort into it, so I hope you all like it. Also if any of you find my voice annoying, I’m still not super comfortable with posting my voice online, so I still need to practice getting into to the “UA-camr voice” if you know what I mean.
Music used:
Jake Chudnow - Moon Men (instrumental)
“From Russia, with Love”
Ace Combat Zero OST- “Zero”
Ludwig Goransson - Can You Hear the Music
Younger Stoner life & Young Thug - Superstar x Kevin Macleod - Sneaky Snitch
Playboy Carti- Feel Like God (Gazzzy Remix)

I care about her father 🥺
Yeva is one of my favorite characters purely because she doesn't speak and is a gamer.
Same
She relatable tho
Gorden freeman of MD imo.
"And shes canonically a gamer"
Thats all I need to hear, this is a good video.
I think that leaving her daughter alone and scared would be something really out of character for Yeva.
Because she is absolutely the bravest character in the series.
Also, maybe Nori and Yeva are fused in Nori's core?
@@CopperMaskGuy_27 yeah I agree, part 5 is probably the weakest part of the video. I’m honestly not too sure on what Yeva was doing for the past 8 episodes.
@@Axolotl_12358 you did a amazing job whit this video!!!
The only problem I have whit this is the fact that you said that no one cares about Yeva's husband!!!
He literally flashed V whit a camera to save her daughter.
he is a hero!!!
Lets not stop there, Yeva is alive, and so is doll inside Uzi's mind. Whats next? Does yeva start stalking Uzi both to find a way to kill the solver forever and to make a gap for doll to come out? Maybe the antagonist of a possible season 2 would be the victims in season 1. Imagine the roles swapped. Now N, V and maybe J would have to be protected. Fanfic bussiness is booming
Ohhh that would be really cool!
VSauce intro is crazy

Don't forget Doll and poor Tessa!!
Yes
Okay now that I've seen the entire video
WHAT WHAT YEVA'S BODY IS GONE-
WAIT
WHA
Oh my god, hmmm... this could be the Solver Drones form of an eldritch being. Disassembly Drones turn into spooky eldrich worms, and Solver Drones turn into some shadowy being after being killed. This does raise the question of why didn't Yeva's body turn into a shadowy figure now, but I believe this has something to do with how the world looked at Uzi ate the core, the world suddenly turning into darkness. It may be possible that when Yeva died, she still had a consciousness inside the Solver, buried underneath, however it was buried, until Uzi ate the core, leading for an opening for Yeva's consciousness to escape, roaming the world as that shadowy figure in that frame from the end credits.
Good theory, but personally have a different interpretation of how Yeva survived.
@@TotallyNot0020 so Yeva is a robo ghost?
That sounds amazing!!!
I believe that's doll they confirmed
Sorry about the audio issues in 10:05-10:20, YT made me cut out some copyrighted music.
Peak. Love the passion and energy man, this is the beginning of something great for sure!
Thanks man! Really appreciate it!
I do think there could be a possibility of Yevas core still being out there, but at the same time it's also plausible that V maybe ate/destroyed her core when she killed Yeva and her husband. We don't see a Disassembly Drone actually killing a Solver Host and consuming their oil, where they would see the core being alive other than Cyn eating Dolls core and ripping out Uzis. I believe Yeva must've used her Solver in order to try and fend off V, which might've alarmed V that Yeva is infected and has a core she has to destroy.
It might be that when V realized that Yeva was a host that she either opened her ripcage to eat the core/destroy it or waited until the core came out itself. On one of Noris doodles she shows N during Episode 7 she wrote something like "it sent something to destroy the other hosts" which might imply that the Disassembly Drones are aware of the Hosts and kill them off for good if they're not compliant (Yevas solver was patched, so she cannot be mindcontrolled by Cyn anymore, which might've made her useless in Cyns eyes).
But for the space image, Noris solver is pink & Uzis is purple. Pink is very easily influenced by red lighting while purple isn't as "sensitive" to red light due to it being closer to blue. Unreal Engine, the engine where MD was animated in, can be a bit wonky with lightning. The shaders are very sensitive for some reason in certain situations. I wouldn't 100% say it's impossible that this truely was a red solver being used, but it could just as easily be an issue with lighting. It's difficult to compare colorpicked images of lit spaces since some colors are more influenced than others when the lighting is colored too and not just simply white/neutral.
I kinda like the idea of Yeva, who was most likely aware of what was happening and tried to help Uzi and her mother, being alive - but at the same time I wonder where she was? The Solver powers seem to have a range for the normal hosts with only Cyn having a pretty far range unless they use NULL, so Yeva must've been close to Uzi in space to chuck her an astroid. And now I imagine her just casually floating in space, seeing Uzi and being like "ay blyat, have this astroid"
@@corvid_pest check my community post I did the eyedropper test on Nori’s eyes in the space scene, which has the same lighting as the solver picking up the asteroid
You make some pretty good points. The silly part of me wants to say Yeva has somehow been orbiting Copper 9 this whole time (never mind the risk of sunlight and lack of oil).
I agree that it seems pretty clear, destroying rival hosts was the Disassembly Drones' primary mission, and clearing out normal Drones were just a means to an end. Even if they didn't consciously know how the cores worked, CYN would have left them with the pre-programed instincts to just eat it.
I have wondered, if V did eat Yeva's core, could a piece of her be hiding in V, the same way we think Doll is now living in Uzi?

I 100% believe that Yeva is alive as well as Doll. Episode 8 was obviously setup for a continuation of the series. Which is why everyone's confused as to why there's not going to be a season 2, supposedly. It makes absolutely no sense why Liam would drop all this lore, on the last episode, just to not continue it. To not answer it? Its frustrating.
I think Liam said somewhere he originally planned to have more seasons, but he decided not to do it for a reason I can't remember. I think it was something like the story being boring (but it could be something else completely, I really don't remember).
@@endercrafto3 If that's true then my personal theory would be right. He abandoned the series for the exact same reason he abandoned his other projects. The excuse of "he got bored" with it. Man needs to consider ADHD treatment if he ever wants to continue making content. We all know the story isn't boring. It would be nice to hear from Liam why.
@@BladeNight02 I think we can cut the man a little slack. He's been working on this series continuously for three years--including all the gap time between episodes.
Sometimes an artist just needs a little downtime to work on something else -- I'm confident he'll come back to the series in due course
@@CaesarFredericus For whatever its worth. I hope your right.
You did a great job expressing a lot of the questions I've had about Yeva. Very solid video overall. (I also appreciate the Glitch Inn update at the end)
I admit I had some reservations about the color evidence, but her Yeva's suspicious absence from the end credits seems pretty undeniably significant.
The Doll-Uzi situation suggests that even if V did eat her core, Yeva could still be around in some form.
At this point, the idea that Yeva *didn't* survive is sounding like the least likely scenario.
The hanging question is, why did she wait so long to come back?
There was a logic behind Nori's absence, she wanted to keep Uzi safely in the dark until she found the Patch (and in her defense, that plan was working pretty well up for the years stayed Uzi spent behind the doors).
Yeva could have had a similar motivation, but then why wait until it was too late to help her daughter?
I have to assume it's because, she couldn't.
Perhaps the impact of the finale battle brought Yeva back from where she was trapped or hiding.
Or, if we go with "assimilation" theory, maybe CYN's defeat has unbound the personalities that the Solver has devoured, and she's been influencing someone (V?) to do things like retrieve her body.
Neither explains why her symbol might have appeared in space, but that is its own can of worms.
Anyway, great video! As you can see from how much I've written here, you've really got me thinking on the subject!
this is further backed up by the terminal in episode 7, Yeva's name is highlighted.
Cuz Nori lives in her core and dolls core got eaten..
YO LETS PUT THEM TOGETHER SO NORI HAS A BODY-
Angst ensues
funny thing is: since Doll was assimilated into Cyn and Cyn was assimilated into Uzi and since we've seen zombie Doll is very much a thing, Doll is also possible to restore to her worker drone state and this likely would happen some time after the show's conclusion since nobody would want to deal with a zombie Doll because nobody would want another Cyn situation
further more because when simplified, human mind is just a series of electric impulses same as circuitry and since the Solver can create controlled singularities, it should also be capable of backing up humans as it would be mathematically simpler tack
meaning, if the theory above is assumed true, Yeva, Doll and Tessa could return to the canon of the show
meaning that nobody important actually died
meaning that Kahn, Uzi, N, V, J, Nori, Yeva, Doll, (drone*) Tessa, Thad and Lizzie could plausibly all be in the same room at the same time and it technically wouldn't go against the canon of the show
@@francenkovcan5211 tbh I think Tessa coming as a drone would be kinda dumb imo
@@Axolotl_12358 it may be dumb, but it is possible
if you think about this is a perfect setup for a second season because (presuming Cyn took 1/2 of uzi's conscious and doll took half of cyn's conscious) 1/4 of uzi's conscious is doll
0:16 I was not ready for Vsauce like bro
Yeva was a born gamer indeed.
I feel that since Doll heart core was eaten by Cyn and now Uzi, she still lives on in Uzi, could it mean Yeva heart core still be out there?
Probably. Even if someone ate it, she'd still be living in their head, rent-free
Damn Dolls dad was done dirty 😭
Counterpoint for the learning to walk part: at the end of ep 2 when eldritch J gets blown up, her core (solver operated) can walk right off the bat. Other than that, makes sense to me and now I will tell everyone I know who watches MD about this.
@@QuizzicalSoup yeah but remember the amount of time that passes between episodes 1 and 2 is like a few days, possibly even a week or two.
@@Axolotl_12358 good point
@@Axolotl_12358 I'd also add that Heartbeat's Core was being piloted by a mini-Solver apparently pre-programmed to deal with that scenario.
I think things would have been very different if it was J herself trying to figure out have to operate in that form.
Ya you’re never convincing me in a million years that the show is over
I love yeva ( I’m bi )
My theory is that disassembly drones are likely designed to destroy the core of drones so V probably ate or destroyed Yeva's core. but idk
5:28 this is directly disproven by eldritch J’s core in episode 2, as it’s LITERALLY RUNNING AWAY WHILE DOING PARKOUR
10:01 it’s a trick of the lighting in the background.
this changes everything
I'm not sure how much I buy the hallway entity in the end credits being a homage to Doll. The face it makes is a face only Cyn has used before (In Home when she's talking to Tessa's mom,) and its got these weird tentacles coming from it that the original episode with Doll never even had anything of the sort. It would explain why Yeva's body is missing from Doll's room if it was reanimated by Yeva herself or somehow even Cyn (despite the patch.)
@@impaster2166 yeah so the whole thing about it being a homage to episode 3 came from a confirmation from glitch Inn’s discord where somebody asked what it was and one of the animators just said it was Doll and an episode 3 homage, however then of course as stated in the vid I saw a screenshot on the MD subreddit showing an update on their discord server saying that you should only ask lore questions from Goose and Liam. This means that the doll entity being simply a homage is now put into question, because only Liam knows the full lore.
Let's see what bro cooked 🔥🔥🔥🍕🍕🍕
Edit: dude this is awesome!!!
Also 9:25 I CARE ABOUT HIM!!!
HE IS THE GOAT!!!
V probably eats yevas core cause she could have returned to her body cause it was not destroyed
@@michaelbowman5807 but remember a drone can’t regenerate if it’s sustained significant damage. So maybe Yeva was damaged enough that she couldn’t regenerate.
@@Axolotl_12358 I will be back to rewatch episode 3
@Axolotl_12358 From what is shown of yevas' body, she has a gsw to the head
@@michaelbowman5807 yeah but all the other damage to her body could be enough to be irreparable.
idk how accurate the whole "cores have to learn to walk claim is", when we see uzi's core crawl back and N's core struggle and manages to escape, also quite clear from the battle in episode 8 that cyn was enjoying and thinking it's a joke, so when her core got ripped, she didn't know what to do
that point could've been removed
also i think all of the colours are inconsistant, and if it were yeva in space, than why couldn't we see her? we get a full 360 view
Yeah, I think the point is less that they're immobile, and more that they are relatively helpless when they first emerge.
Even Nori seems a little limited in what she can do, never moving anything heavier than the pickaxe, even with the Solver (although she's very skilled and precise in how she uses it).
5:00 what about J hart in ep2?
What about the shadowy figure in the credits? I kinda looks like Yeva
@@SimonBrill-vs9yx yeah it could be Yeva. Or doll. Who knows

They get less screen time than J... that's says something unfortunately
Yeva and Doll's father are in the exact same position. Hard to say if it is because of model or something else
@@Kopy2347 Doll’s father is closer to the candles, while Yeva is to the right. There is no hump under the sheet to the right of the candles
@@Axolotl_12358 I mean it like they are in the same layout of body, they have hands with fingers in exact same position, I think head position is same too
bro we are coping too much
Uhhh, that is very obviously nori saving khan. It is clearly purple. Then nori is right up top and has a sperg out and lies that khan doesn't know her.
A lot of analysis channels seem to have a hard time with the idea of characters lying.
@@starburst98 what are you talking about? I used the image cus Uzi and Nori’s solver are the same color.
The solver we see moving the asteroid is red
Did starburst even watch the video
10:12 i mean this in the nicest tone i can convey over text, the solver looks red here because nori heart's light color is pink, not purple (????i dont know why either), you can see it in ep7 its just. its pink for some reason lmao
edit: want to add that im not trying to disprove the theory, i am a yeva is alive believer myself lol
@@GutShops yeah but the eyedropper part of the video kinda disproves your statement. It’s clearly red.
@@Axolotl_12358 i mean?????? maybe???? the lighting in those specific shots in the scene near the end and the asteroid scene are not the same, so the eydropper is not entirely accurate
@@GutShops even if u you use the eyedropper on Nori’s eyes in that scene it’s still Pink, while the silver is red
@@Axolotl_12358 i do personally think it's just lighting. her lights weren't mixing with the yellow background light like the solver was, and being an artist with a relatively good understanding of rendering, nori's light glow would have appeared red if the yellow light hit it
im not against the theory of it being yeva!! i just have a habit of explaining things, sorry
10:18 I'd argue it's still the lighting, as Nori's solver is more pinkish compared to Uzi's.
@@Zaymations-OFFICIAL look at my community post. I used the eyedropper tool on Nori’s eye in the space scene, which has the same lighting as the solver picking up the asteroid.
@@Axolotl_12358 Yes, but still, I'd say it's more just a coincidence, as Nori's solver color can be inconsistent and sometimes be purple, sometimes be more pink.

Yeah. I just assumed she wasn't talking because she knew Mitchel and the other scientists didn't speak Russian.
