Please get rid of the "music" loop.
ok, so more music loops it is!
Seems no one is discussing this but does this soundbar support VRR and ALLM passthrough with the HDMI 2.1 eARC port? My main purpose with my home theater is gaming with content being second place. I would love to know before i go out and pick it up.
Ya bro literally why I’m here
Does it support DTS X, dts hd master audio

@@JilesMcCoy Thankyou very much
How does it compare to the RP600m?
Really different animals.
I tried a soundbar from various manufacturers about 5 years ago and was totally unimpressed, the cinema 600 5.1 is totally amazing, I was blown away! I purchased and moved into a smaller condo and I needed a soundbar vice my older traditional home theater system..the cinema 600 is amazing! I may upgrade to the 800 after about a year or so!
Thanks for sharing!
@@JilesMcCoy Very welcome. I know my gear and I really have to say for the money.. this is one amazing sound bar system. Now it does not beat my Vienna Acoustic Bach’s for my stereo music listening!! But I do love my Cinema 600 5.1’s
Very awesome!
I have ordered the 600 and its arriving tomorrow!
Is the soundbar loud and does it have deep bass?
@@harkisingh it does get loud but it’s also very clear crisp sound. The subwoofer produces awesome bass!
Just got one, and I'm not impressed.
:-(
Is this much better than the Klipsch cinema 600? Is the 800 more immersive?
What a collab! Jealous! 😄 And I’m in Mike’s camp - at least in my head, it goes against all my audio morals to mount a soundbar above a TV. Hard pass. Mount it underneath or don’t mount it at all. 😆🤘 Thanks for the review! I’m also jealous Klipsch didn’t send me any soundbar yet…one day! Haha! 🙌
Hey! Thanks for watching! We need to get together one day and create some content for sure. I am all about pragmatism. Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do with an install!
Personal opinion Klipsch sound bar. Purchased Cinema 600 sound bar in 11/2020. In January 2022 Bluetooth stopped working. And the wireless subwoofer is not connecting any more. Also bought the surround sound speakers that don't connect anymore. Many other folks are having issues with no solution per Reddit and other sites. Buy a different brand and save yourself the headache.
That sucks man!
True. Same story here!
It 59% off on Klipsch website!
Nice!
I scored a 800 open box on newegg for $399. It's going to replace the Yamaha YAS-209 in the kid's room. I also have a R-120SW that's not worth returning that I may try with the 800, I bought on accident thinking I was 'saving for later' so I could compare on Prime day (I ended up with the SPL-120 for my living room).
Awesome!
This looks good too.
Agreed
But can you make it easy?
Why not?
I'm just about to send back my second cinema 600 because the PSU keeps blowing, is this a problem with the 800?
Also wondering as well. Haven't had my psu go out yet
What is psu
PSU is power supply unit
I wonder if klipsch fixed the subwoofer connection issues...
I haven't had any issues with mine connecting. Perfect from day 1.
Took one back for that reason
Is it HDMI 2.1 compatible for 120hz/4K for the new game consoles for VRR etc?
That Im not sure about.
I can exercise to this sound!
Me too!
Had a great time shooting this with you buddy!
Me too!
Oh boy, I just bought the system and I am not looking forward to no more headaches. My cinema 600 had issues and I bought this 800 hoping that they did upgrade it to make it better but as I read the comments, I’m realizing that nine times out of ten I’ll be returning this as well. So sad I just wanted to find a good system for my great room. Looks like I’m going to have to be on the hunt again. perhaps the Klipsch reference series 5.2 home theater pack is one I’m probably gonna need. this is the only system I’ve not heard anything bad about review wise and that’s gonna go a little over my budget 2x, but it’s looking like I’m just gonna have to bite the bullet
Maybe Samsung if Klipsch isnt working well for you?
Except their software is terrible... updates fail and even an experienced tech like myself is totally pissed off... I have it all working great now but here in Australia, the ease of use is terrible
I did not even know about the app, but my cinema 600 set up was so easy, even the surround 3 speakers were easy to set up..only needed to connect one of the surrounds and both connected. I am pretty excited about them updating the connect app to be able to control equalization. I believe the cinema 600 is great but the soundbar over powers the satellite speakers!
I need the surrounds!
In my experience the 600 sounds better than the 800
@@georgegutierrez1194 Wow!
Can all the talk, let's hear this sound bar.
Gotta hear it in person to appreciate. A phone wont do it.
This vs sonos arc, sub, and one SL?
I need a Sonos set to test!
Hey guys, purchased the cinema 800 today and so fare the sound is great although not much difference between this and my own rsb-11 if I'm being honest, the sub however WOW I'm in a small room and at - 6 this thing is still a little loud haha, only issue I'm having is when first pressing play on a new movie or swiping through UA-cam videos (where it plays a preview) or starting a new UA-cam video the first few seconds of playing is without sound.. I've tried all my settings on the TV to try rectifying this issue but no dice.. Did you guys experience the same issue? Is it just the soundbar processing the sound?? Never had this issue with my old rsb-11 and it's a little annoying!
Depending on the TV putting the soundbar below within 6 -8 inches will mess up the wireless antennas (Samsung tech told me to move my soundbar from under the tv)
you got me on "TODAAAY"
GREAT REVIEW!
Do not buy any klipsch bar they use some crappy power supply that stops working after a year of use,i had to replace mine with an aftermarket one cause the original was not available anywhere, overall the product is very well build but they cheap out on this power supply for sure, klipsch customer service told me the warranty is one year and already expired so no help from there, klipsch make great speakers but don`t buy any electronics from this brand, you`ll have problems!
Bummer you had a bad experience :-(
Mine died too. Exactly 13 months after purchase. How did you solve the power issue finally? The after-market solution..Please do share how you did it. Thanks
Just picked up the cinema 600 but the 800 is on sale thinking about getting it. I've heard of both these units having power supply issues. Have you experienced anything like that?
I have not.
question you might be able to help me with. ive got the cinema 800 to replace a sonos playbar.
im looking at the wall hooks, but i dont know how a hdmi cable could bend to vertical up under the tv and be neat and hidden. i can't seem to find anything online about it either.
Not sure on that one.
why not test with a pc sound card instead of nvidea? Even onboard pc audio would be better than any streaming device.
NVidia?
How does this compare with Klipsch The Fives with subwoofer? Thanks
I own both, music sounds better on the Fives, movies and the shows are way better on the 800s because of the center channel on the sound bar.
inconceivable!
I don't think that word means what you think that word means :)
Put it where you got to. A true center channel should come from the center of the picture, so either top or bottom is a compromise. As long a you have it pointing towards the center seat you'll be fine.
+1
Klipsch are really not doing themselves a favour with these power problems being experienced worldwide with their Soundbars. And their customer service is definitely not something to write home about. Anyway my Cinema 600 died exactly 13 months after purchase. I now have a useless subwoofer and surround speakers that I can't use because of this faulty bar. Really sad. Wgat a waste!!!
No. The subwoofer can be used again with something else
@@mohamedalkaboom No they can't. I got a new soundbar from Klipsch under warranty. So now am good. But for how long...
@@familynzomo5844 yes. The subwoofer can be wired in addition to being wireless
What would you consider a small room with a perfect size room for something of his collar
The optimal viewing position is one where your eyes are centered on your screen. If you have a large tv like I do (84”), sometimes the only option is to mount your sound bar above the tv. When angled correctly, the sound is actually BETTER than it being below the screen with sound bouncing off of your floors. Test it for yourself! I’d love to see that test with one of you blindfolded… nudge nudge…
This is a man with his head on right!
sure you toned down the bass... lol
Thanks for the review. Has the app been updated for EQ control yet?
Ive not heard. Anyone out there have an update?
7.onthh
NO you are both wrong, until you really mount a soundbar higher and test it in different rooms and really evaluate it, it seems you are basing your opinions with out actually testing the idea..."i think and you should never" are always bad decisions to base opinions on. I did this in a smaller bedroom and was amazed at the added separation and clearer sound. I started mounting all my center channels above the tv after that and it really helped the clarity for whatever reason. My only thought was at eye/ear level i had many things for sound to bounce off of...but above the tv almost every obstacle was out of the way....2 cents and a hmmm added :) oh forgot the speakers were tilted very slightly towards ear level.
Great info!
Just got my klipch 800 , question: can I adjust tremble up or down manual?
That should be in the app update this month!
@@JilesMcCoy sounds good , thanks for quick reapplying 🤝
@@JilesMcCoy : when I turn tv on sound bar automatically go on too , can I hear only tv sound whit out klipch? Because for news watching on tv no need Klipsch sound .
@@FirstnameLastname-by9vl That would probably be some kind of setting in your TV.
