I’m a software engineer. Sometimes I’m not able to complete my work on time as a programmer I have to do alot of brain storming everyday also alot of times I get stuck if my code is not working properly and I can’t find help online. Uncertainty is no joke. I’m at that point in life that I feel so depressed everyday. I feel less and less interested everyday in everything. I feel so unproductive that I want to cry. I feel numbness in brain. I feel like dying

Same for me. I'm on a small team but I'm mostly alone. I feel all those same things and I don't think the work I'm doing is valued.

I can totally relate I do computer animation and visual effects so my job is not simple at all . one thing that helps a bit is working out and running it helps release chemicals in the brain that could help with the depression. i also struggle everyday with work since its not easy task most of the time trying to stay positive is definatly harder than it sounds. I also had depersonalization a few years ago and that was hell but I finally got over it with help and medication. i take cymbalta 40 mgs everyday and that also helps seek out help if you can.

I can relate that too. Sometimes, it might feel better if someone could tell that we are in the same position as them. But reality doesn’t work that day. But you are definitely not alone. I also felt I wanted to cry at the wrong time. It’s only the other I felt the chaos just came towards me and I felt so useless with what I’m doing. And waking up in the morning not feeling eager to work. Those are just signs of anxiety

Yeah this has been a huge problem for me recently, I’m 23 and I work at the bank as a teller and I’ve been here for 4 months, it’s very stressful, working with peoples money already makes me anxious and everyone around me is telling me they’re proud of me for getting the bank job, and putting me on this pedestal that I wasn’t receiving when I was just working a food service job. I’m anxious everyday at work, I’m getting better at my job but for some reason I’m barely comfortable working here. Even though on paper it’s a “good” job. So I just feel a lot of pressure because I have no idea what I’d do, and my parents have scolded me in the past for leaving jobs because of this same reason. But I’ve stuck with jobs in the past, I just don’t know if all this anxiety I feel is justified I guess.

Talking to my manager about my stress so she have my back , and those blowpops help so much take your favorite snack and smile because you’re such an important part of the bank don’t feel down. God is on your side.

I've been put on a pedestal, but work finally is presenting the reality I know, that I'm stupid and slow. and of all the times to be hit with the actual reality, it's at a job where I'm being insanely judged and get comments on, and I deal with other ppl's money and there is always a time crunch. and my job doesn't properly train ppl. very much learn as you go type of shit. I just...I'm trying so hard to remember ppl are proud of me and that I will improve but anxiety is so debilitating.

I have a cure for people that can’t meditate. Look up Reiki hand positions & what they mean. Instead of trying to quiet the mind, just try focusing on energy flowing from your hands into the body part. This is an automatic meditation. I had problems shutting my mind off. Not only did it help me but now I have trouble stopping the meditation because it is too pleasant.
I just do feet, sacral , solar plex, heart, throat, third eye. Top of head & back of head.
I also believe doing this practice can activate the placebo affect. It literally changed my life. Good luck!

I am experiencing work anxiety. I am a do-er. Give me a task and clear instructions and I will complete it quickly, efficiently and accurately. I am NOT a delegator. I have been tasked with connecting with teams to give them extra work for a project that is not related to their day to day jobs. They dont care about what i am asking them to do. I hate confrontation and have no mechanisms to deal with it properly. I am receiving push back, back lash and questions I can't answer from teams, which in turn, puts my anxiety into overdrive. We are reliant on teams completing this task in order to move forward with the project, it is not just something I can just take over and do myself in a short space of time. I am losing sleep over the task because teams are not responding well to the ask of them, and I am not good at making people do what I need from them. The project has been pushed out a few weeks already because teams are not responding to the ask from me. I would quit but someone else in my team has quit, leaving my manager already a team member down. I am so miserable and feel like I am drowning, I am waiting for the waves to spit me back onto dry land.
