Erwin Hymer Museum, Bad Waldsee

The exhibition in the Erwin Hymer Museum narrates the success story of caravaning and mobile travel. On 6000 square meters and featuring 80 historic mobile homes spanning eight decades, the vehicle collection of founder Erwin Hymer highlights the development of the vehicles: some are from industrial production, others are fascinating do-it-yourself constructions or very individual productions. The exhibition highlights the cultural history of holidaying, of pioneers and the aspirations of their time. Dream routes that awaken many fond memories take visitors on a trip around the world.
