It turned out beautifully. I really appreciate you talking us through it. Even though it's fun to just watch people paint, it's so much better for learning when the artist tells what they're doing, what colors and brushes they're using, etc. It makes a wonderful tutorial!
O my Lois not only can you paint gorgeous senorama but flowers to. You are a gem. I just found this from last Spring. Don,t no if U did more florals must look. I think I will try this, fingers crossed. Love U much. Judy❤🧸
Absolutely beautiful, and you make it look so easy! I cannot believe how you got it to all come together so brilliantly and the vase looks as though it has a glossy finish. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all. 💖
I learned a lot from watching this. I love it so much. I so empathize with hand pain. I need both thumbs repaired from 30 plus years of weeding my enormous flower gardens. I'm a beginning watercolorist but no one can out-weed me. (yet) Thanks for sharing your beautiful work. I hope to learn more from you.
Thank you. I am a novice and I appreciate learning from your instructional videos. This painting is beautiful and I practice painting this three times. Thank you!
Once again absolutely beautiful. Of course you make it look so easy. I do really like the little extra interest you added to the background. It does give the illusion of a window behind the plant. So nice.
Loved the way you put the Gamboge into the vase for some light. Beautiful as usual Lois.I liked the extra work you did on the background. Gave it life.
Well this one is very nice. I really like your semi-abstract approach and have admired several earlier videos of yours. The seascapes are very dramatic and have rich colors. Thank you for sharing.
Sorry about your wrist, Lois, hope it is pain free very soon. I can't believe that this floral is one of your first. It's beautiful and the Gamboge gives it such warmth. Thank you, Lois!
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I followed it and am really happy with my own version. You are excellent at explaining and showing how it is done. Even as beginner I could follow and apply the techniques.
I loved watching you paint this and then painting along. I've done 2 of your cityscapes, which I also loved. Have watched several landscapes and plan to try those next. Thank you for sharing your considerable talent!
Thank you for demonstrating this, especially in real time Lois. I always struggle with flowers and overworking them, but will have another go, trying to keep everything loose.
I love this! Thank-you! It looks so fun! I've never done a loose flower arrangement in watercolor. I really like it!. I love the spattering effect. You've given me ideas again.
Great painting Lois not anything what I was expecting, enjoyed video how you worked it very minimum pallete . Loose bright and blended colours incredible how you achieved amazing picture. Thanks greatly appreciated stay safe.
Very nice and learned something new for sure. I really like what you did at the end actually, balanced it out really nicely and you can really feel the warmth of the sunshine! 🙋♂️🌷🤩
I love the loose style and this was a fun experiment for me as well. I heard you say you've been doing watercolor for just 3 years. YIKES. Please tell me you were an artist before you took up watercolor. I'm a total novice at any art form and have been experimenting with watercolor for 2 years. Still feeling like a total beginner. I'm just having fun and as long as it is fun I'll keep doing it. You've taught me me several new things with t he hake brush, etc. Thank you for sharing your experiences!
Loved it, thank you! And I like your saying “it’s only a piece of paper”! That’s my problem, that I get so uptight during the “ugly phase”, even watching you paint through it and come out with a beautiful painting. I have to remind myself that it’s only a piece of paper, and ask myself “in what museum are you expecting to hang this?” 😂😂😂
Lois, please can you say for how long you leave a painting to dry when you say "I'll just leave that to dry.." "now it's dry.." I love your art and am learning loads... Thank you.
Lois…could you please tell me where to buy a decent calligraphy brush like you use for those small details in your work? I’m in the US but don’t mind purchasing from somewhere else and waiting. Thank you…❤️🐝

Dear Mrs. Davidson, I thank you so much for all your help and support and tipps. I learned so much from you. Please continue 🙏 🙂 .
I love the loose watercolor flowers! I’m afraid I always overwork my projects! I love how clear and vibrant your colors are too! 🎨
Thank you so much, Lois, this was beautifully done! I painted with you and was pleasantly surprised how good it turned out...
This was great. Thank you. And I love that you are expanding your offering. Jane
The colors of hope and evening magic paintings ...🌷👍👍👍

Wow, I can't believe that this was only 3 colors. Very impressive!
Thank you!
@@LoisDavidsonArt thank you so much. You always inspire me !
Amazing, I love your style!
Wow my painting looks great. I thought I couldn't paint loose flowers but step by step is easier. Love the colours. Thank you.

Lovely. Love the looseness and delicate colors.
Absolutely beautiful, and you make it look so easy! I cannot believe how you got it to all come together so brilliantly and the vase looks as though it has a glossy finish. Thank you for sharing your talent with us all. 💖
Absolutely exquisite! How dare I even try, but I did. I love this.
So pretty. I liked how those darks made the flowers come out.
Thanks so much 😊💐

Lovely, Lois and what a lovely daughter!
STUNNING!! I love the flowers you paint.
Thanks Maggie, hopefully I’ll be painting flowers more regularly now I’m getting the hang of it! 💐💐💐
Thank you very much. I liked it very much, the way of not giving importance to the flowers as if they were roses or specific flowers.
Thanks so much 😊💐
Thank you for demonstrating this, especially in real time Lois. I always struggle with flowers and overworking them, but will have another go, trying to keep everything loose.
I love this! Thanks for sharing your beautiful talents.

Really special thank you will try later which color alternatives are there to Rose madder and gambouche? Which supplier are they from?
My paints are made by Cotman, any deep pink and bright transparent yellow will do
