BBC Radio 2's Jeremy Vine Pays Emotional Tribute to Steve Wright After His Death Live on Air, Watch

BBBC Radio 2 presenter Jeremy Vine was close to tears on BBC Radio 2 today following the announcement that Steve Wright has died aged 69. The beloved DJ presented programmes for BBC Radio 1 and Radio 2 for more than four decades.
Steve's family confirmed his death "with deep sorrow and profound regret" in a statement today. The sad news was included in the 5pm bulletin on BBC Radio 2 today, with presenter Sara sounding emotional as she responded.
She said: "It's really hard to know what to say about the news of Steve Wright's passing, except that we are all absolutely devastated and shocked and blind-sided by this news. Steve was an extraordinary broadcaster and a really, really kind person.
